Title: The Disney Channel Original Movie Thread!
Post by: dark-daventry on October 25, 2006, 07:58:09 AM
This thread is for all discussion partaining to Disney Channel Original Movies. Please note that these movies are NOT shown in theaters. They are TV movies for Disney Channel. Movies like Halloweentown and Zenon as well as Twitches are all great examples of DCOMS! Also, Zenon: Z4 is set to premiere in 2007, along with Twitches 2: Back to Coventry. Halloweentown 5: She's the Witch is in the works, High School Musical 2: Sing it all or Nothing is in development, and I think Junior High Musical is in production... Cowbelles 2 is on the way, The Ultimate Christmas Gift 2 is coming your way.... That's all for now.... Post at your own freewill!

The little Vampire was not a disney channel original movie, however, it was made by disney for theaters. Mom got a date with a vampire was though. It aired a while back, and I saw the last 30 minutes...  :'( I feel so left out! XD Anywho, I taped Halloweentown's 1-4 and Twitches, so now I own all of those... Next halloween I think will be Twitches 2: Back to coventry, but I am not 100% positive...

I saw it on TV a couple of months ago, was pretty good.

The name sounds familliar, but I don't remember more than that. It probably is... Highschool musical was good. Not many boys actually liked it. My camp showed it, and my friends and I were the only boys there. The rest were all girls, who no doubt thought the main character "Super Hot!" XD No offense to anyone!

The guys in my first period were talking about how they thought the Gabriella chick was hot. :P I, on the other hand, am apparently immune to the dude-guy wave. :P

Am I the only boy here who actually enjoyed High School Musical? I thought that Z3 was a bit dissapointing... The first one was good, and I haven't seen enough of Zenon: The Zequel to make any sort of decision, but they are making Zenon: Z4 for anyone (like me) wanting to see more. The Luck of the Irish was good... Under Wraps was just kinda weird to me... My sister and I have an original idea for a movie they could do. We're happy about it. But I can't discuss it for my safety and yours. XD One day I'd want to see a Captain Underpants Movie! XD Or at least a Saturday Morning Kids show or something! XD They already have music.... Just imagine A disney Channel Captain Underpants movie/TV show... It may actually do well. It is a new york times bestselling series... Kids love it, and I even read it! XD

Maybe I should! I still have to write the script for the movie... (Please note: I've never written a script in my life...) I think a captain Underpants show would ultimately do better than a movie. A saturday morning TV Show would work the best I think... Besides, the book's popular anyway... I may reveal the movie idea my sister and I worked out, but I must learn when to keep such things secret... It's so hard for me to keep ideas in... Especially when it comes to writing...
