Title: Next Four Movies...
Post by: PirateKingChris on March 29, 2007, 02:48:16 PM
What are the next four movies you plan to see in the theater?
Mine are Grindhouse, The Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie For Theaters, Spider-Man 3, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

Actually, while I'm at it, what are the LAST four movies you saw in the theater?
I last saw Hills Have Eyes 2 (bleh), TMNT (sweeet), 300 (quite good), and Black Snake Moan (weird, but good)

The next 4 that I plan on seeing is TMNT (I'm seeing it tonight), Spider-Man 3, At Worlds End, and Harry Potter 5.

The last 4 I saw were Music and Lyrics (great), Mimzy (meh), Pirates of the Carribean 2 (1st was better), and Eragon (pretty good).

Someone else who thought Eragon wasn't totally bad!

Next 4: Spider-man 3, POTC 3, Harry Potter 5, Live Free or Die Hard, and Fantastic Four 2. Wait, that's five...whichever four come out first. :P

Last 4: Mimzy, Premonition, Eragon, and I don't remember what else.

I can't seem to get four for anything. :P

Edit: Pursuit of Happiness, that was it. Maybe. :P

Next 4: Harry Potter 5, ... uh..... can't think of anything else.

Last 4: For Your Consideration (good, but nowhere near as great as Guest's mockumentaries), Pursuit of Happyness (very good), Little Miss Sunshine (fantastic!), and The Devil Wears Prada (fair).

I don't go to the movie theaters much. :-\ Usually I just wait until I can rent them so that I can watch them at home. By then, I usually have a very good idea of what is and what isn't worth watching.

Next four: HP5, PotC3...Um...Yeah... :P

Last 4: Bridge to Terabithia (Great! VERY powerful for a kids' movie, :P) Night at the Museum (Funny enough,) Eragon (Not a bad movie, but not very true to the book. It was enjoyable though,) and...um.....PotC2! :P

I've been going to the movies a LOT lately (Trust me, for me to remember 4 movies, that's a lot. :P)

For the first time in awhile I'm not sure exactly what the next four I'll see are. But I can easily say the movies I'm most looking forward to that come out sometime this year are Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Dark Knight, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and what the heck, Rambo.

I heard the new Rambo was a disgrace... an excuse for senseless violence. I'm guessing you wouldn't say that?
Title: Re: Next Four Movies...
Post by: PirateKingChris on January 27, 2008, 01:19:57 PM
I wouldn't say it was an excuse for senseless violence. I think it showed what violence would really be like, and showed how horrible it is in some countries. Too often they don't show what guns really do to people, what terrible damage they can do and this movie certainly showed that. Plus if Rambo is senseless violence, then every horror movie ever made is too, and I love horror movies.

I'm also not recommending it to everyone, it's one of the most graphic things I've seen. I just don't think it's fair that it's called senseless.

Saw Jumper the other night, it was ok. It was absolutely nothing like the book :-\ and it's obviously set up to be series. What did people who aren't familiar with the books think of it?

Next Four: Dark Knight, Inkheart, Narnia, and Indiana Jones.

*revives*

Last 4: Be Kind Rewind (twice), Strange Wilderness, Rambo (twice) and Juno.

Next 4(I think): Nim's Island(sucker for adventurey kids movies :P), Run Fatboy Run, Narnia 2, and Indy 4.

I just came back from Horton, and I thought it was very fun. It stayed true to the original book, while adding in more stuff, and was not hampered by the usual "kids think farts and poop are funny" algorithm.

I don't remember the book really. ( I should go read it in a book store someday.) I thought it was well done though, everything but that last two minutes. That part was painful the movie would have been perfect without that.

Best Buy has the "Robotech Prodoculture Collection" On sale for 38$ this week if anybody is interested. I got it and watched the first twelve episodes last night. I think Robotech would make a great real life movie or 3D computer animated movie. I hope they make it someday.

A little ADD, Jason? :P
Possibly, I'll describe what I did when watching a 22 minute episode on DVD the other day.

Ok, five minutes in I'm restless and keep changing seating position. I end up laying on my stomach and I rubbed my foot against something, so I looked back. Noticed it was my wardrobe, got distracted, realised I knocked my puffer off my table, picked it up and placed it back on the table. I then realise I've missed about 5 minutes of the episode so I rewind and start again. I watch it for a few minutes and then I get restless and change seating position several more times. I start looking at the pattern on the quilt and get distracted by it. I end up rewinding again.

Anyway, that's how it tends to go down. Sometimes I'll get up, start tucking in my bed and fixing the sheets, then realise I have no idea what's going on. But I always get distracted somehow.

Oh and yes, I realise I probably just babbled about stuff no one wants to read. I also realise that I should stop saying realise.

Wow Really? It's old anime. The box says it came out in 85 but I don't know if that is just in the US or Japan. I only ever really saw the first half of the Robotech: Macross Saga. Too much moving around. I haven't watched any of the rest but I bought it anyway. This series may have been where all the Mecha ideas came from, Like Gundom. Not sure about that though.

Last 4: Enchanted, Thou Shalt Laugh (Does that count? It's a comedy thing but it was on a DVD. I think it counts, :P) Bridge to Terabithia (Still makes me cry...) and Pirates 3. If Thou Shalt Laugh doesn't count, I watched The Da Vinci Code before that. :P
Next 4: Probably Prince Caspian, maybe Wall-E. It doesn't look that interesting to me, but it has so many good reviews...I don't know. :P I honestly don't watch movies much, so HP6 is probably on this list. :P

And for once I'm not sure about my next four, cause I'm pretty broke....I guess four movies coming out I'd LIKE to see are Monsters vs. Aliens, I Love You Man, Adventureland, and Angels & Demons.

And my updated last 4 are Watchmen, Angels & Demons, Terminator Salvation, and Up. I liked them all very much! Not inclined to guess what next four I'll see at this point, though I HOPE to get Star Trek in there maybe in the next week, before it's gone.
