I started out making a king's quest I video and it evolved into more of one about Graham's relationship with King Edward and what it means for Graham to be king.
I don't know if what I was trying to do came across very well; is it confusing at all? ???
I'll let you know when I'm taking care of my dad's pets over the weekend at his place....Alas, I still have dialup here. :'(

I had never heard it before either, I was browsing on itunes for a song that would work well. I tried searching for "i will be" and that came up along with some other ones that i considered.

VidShot Capturer (http://www.geovid.com/VidShot_Capturer/) from GeoVid because it was free. :P It was a pain in the neck though... part of the time it would give me an unknown error after I'd recorded something and another part of the time it would crash my computer. >:(

I think the part with Edward ended up seeming a bit forced but I liked the song and I loved how it showed Graham's character (You're good with that whole characterizing thing. XD)
CamStudio works very well for desktop recording. :P

I think I had CamStudio at some point, don't remember why I don't anymore. I'll try it out again, I may have just forgotten about it.
Just...everything. The fact that he was there, it seemed pretty "Woah. Why is he here?" :P
oh! I was trying to give the idea of him having inspired graham and helped make him who he was, and graham wanting to continue on the crown with the same love and devotion.
idk, it just seemed to fit the lyrics in any case, e.g. "knowing that Your love will shine through me.", "only by the power of Your spirit that's living in me"
I think maybe there's too many ideas stuffed into it. :P KQIII was much easier...
I understand where you're coming from (and it made sense with the lyrics,) but...meh. It just came out of nowhere like "Why would Graham be inspired by this guy?" Maybe it's just me. It's still a great vid. :P *is being overly critical* XD
I appreciate the input in any case cause it helps me learn how to make my movies better (particularly as this is only my second one ;P).

I found this site (http://www.thefxarchive.com/) that has hundreds of special effects for free as well as a couple of other places. It was fun experimenting with all that new stuff, seeing what happens when you combined different effects, like the "flying" portraits of Gwydion and Manannan.
A few others came from a program Jahshaka which I think if it ever actually gets done will be a really neat (and free!) alternative to WMM. As it stands, I had to record the effects off of it's preview window using CamStudio cause it's not really functional yet.
Plus I found a bit of a workaround for WMM not allowing multiple video tracks, which allowed me to do stuff I hadn't before.
And that was probably more than you cared to know, but I'm procrastinating on doing my work, so I typed it up anyway. :P ::)

I just noticed that the company that had my Alexander and Cassima music vid taken down was UMG. Wikking it, turns out UMG is subsidiary of none other than Vivendi XD XD can't get away form 'em :P
(and it's back up now, the claim was retracted for whatever reason. :P )

So, I found out why my My Way Home video got taken down. Apparently back in December WMG, who owned the song, decided they weren't making enough money from their deal with Youtube and broke their deal, forcing Youtube to take down any vids using their music as negotiations broke down. As far as I know, no compromise has been made yet. Made a lot of youtube users very unhappy though; a lot of videos got disabled. :(
Interesting to know. That's always an issue when you're using someone else's intellectual property though. (As we are all quite aware of around here.)

Yea, My Way Home is an almost perfect fit for KQ3. Knew I had to do a video for it as soon as I looked at the lyrics. :D
I have the KQ3 soundtrack and all the TSL songs and the two voiced dialouges on my Zen Stone. Was just listening to The Day You Were Gone the other day in the car. ;D

I doodle around with music videos myself sometimes...this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyYD4bDsS8c) is probably my only KQ video worth watching. (Then again, I've only made a handful of KQ-centric videos. :P)
