I wish I weren't about to sit down and scribble out principal parts for Greek verbs... it's like some sort of punishment... which is odd since conjugation and declension give me some form of enjoyment, but the very idea of writing out six or more principal parts is irksome...

That's what I was gonna say! ...well except that my issue is that I can't just leave because I have to change the media on my cells in another 1.25 hours <==note the use of fractional break down of the hour... that's how much I want to go elsewhere... unfortunately, that's not enough time to go to my room and come back and since I'm without my ID, I can't convince myself to eat on campus... :(

I wish I could find a good catalog of types of deponent verbs still (though I found one interesting paper by a guy arguing against the term deponent which actually does give an okay list of types but doesn't help explain the implications of principal parts of each type).

EDIT: I wish I were hitting this person who is clearly just choosing to put aside the term "deponent" (Latin speakers snicker here) in an attempt to display animosity towards what he perceives to be ignorance (which is in truth a traditional borrowing of a Latin term in discussing Greek, a practice which was used regularly in Classics for centuries!)... reality is what it is... you don't have to beat me or anyone else over the head because you "figured out" that the Greek deponents did not put aside their missing forms but perhaps were never conceived of having them. >:(

That's ridiculous.
The problem with mature rated games over here is the retailers just want their money so they'll sell the games to anyone. People wouldn't complain about the violence in the games if kids weren't able to buy them themselves, like they aren't able to get into R movies (without sneaking in).

Well over here M15+ means under 15 can get a hold of it, but MA15+ means you have to be 15 or over. They do check for ID, but the board over here believes that it is too violent for even 15 year olds...

I wish I weren't going off to pretend to care about making media... and I most definitely wish that I will find my cells alive in their samples when I check (if I get a good experiment today, I'll be done with the 2 micron spheres... then it's on to 0.49 microns and 4.5 microns and then I should be done... with lots and lots of data *usually gets several good tracks per experiment that yields tracks*)
