Hey there, this is probably the most random forum question you've ever gotten, but I was wondering something...
Okay...
Say is spelled like the word "say" (rhymes with hay) but is pronounced Say (short for Saydmell, pronounced sigh.)
So, how is Yonkey pronounced? Is it Yonkey, rhymes with donkey, or is there some other way to say it?
I know this is pretty stupid, but I wanted to know...mainly because when I still see that when Say has posted I pronounce her name Say (rhymes with hay...:() and I don't want that to happen with Yonkey, too!
I believe it's supposed to be pronounced like "sigh" but in my head I keep thinking it's "say" (like hay XD).
But yeah, Yonkey is pronounced like "donkey" but with a y (i.e. yon-kee). :P
XD Thanks
I've gotten to the point where I pronounce Say's name like "sigh" when I think about her. But it took a while XD
O.O I didn't know that. That's going to take some getting used to. :P
I know...When I found out I felt like a n00b.
Oh my brain is going to bleed trying to remember it as "sigh" now. :-\

Didn't know that. :-\ I'll have to remember that. She didn't correct me when I said it the wrong way though. I'll try to remember that.
Actually, when you pronounce it that way (sigh), the full name (saydmell) sounds so much more natural, if you know what I mean. However, whether that's actually going to be able to lodge itself into my memory, that's a whole other matter.
