A new journal entry has now been posted. Check it out! ;D
Cool!
Finally, someone understands what "progress report" means. A thousand tiny golf claps to you Neil.
i´m very glad, that the makers of this game have met in real life now! i hope, this will give the game the right shift to accomplish. I´m looking forward to this day!
Welcome Ewianes! ;D
Yes, the meeting definitely helped us to thoroughly examine the way we've been working, and figure out what we need to focus on in order to get the game completed. We also taught each other how to do certain tasks that we specialize in. It's much easier explaining how to do something in person than it is over the Internet. :)
This was the fourth team's meeting in person.
I believe 3 have been in NY and 1 in California. The very first one was way back 03 where Cesar, Rich and Mike (Fortunato) met for the very first time. Then when they performed the game auditions was the second big meeting; the same bunch met Katie and Allert (and many others). The third meeting was when Cesar and I met in Florida then flew to California and met Gilbert as we discovered San Francisco for a first time and visited Lucas Art Studios.
And the fourth meeting was Neil meeting the same bunch: Cesar, Richard and Mike, along with other two artists.
And of course in all meetings progress and development was discussed as well as work was done, because this is what we do every living second we can.
Well I appreciate all of the team's hard work. It means a lot to me and so many others that you have taken time out of your days- which you are not even payed for- to breath life into this incredible project. I love King's Quest. Thanks so much.
Resurfacing briefly after a long absence... Lost my ID and Login ... but found it in email archive.
I am thrilled that things are progressing well for you all.
The new music is lovely ... although I get the oddest looks playing it on my hybrid's speakers driving down the street... (well either your music or the Tropico Pirate's Cove music gets heads turning)
Really looking forwards to the game coming out. In my laughably small amount of free time I've been making my way through the King's Quest collection that VU(Sierra) was kind enough to re-release. (Must say the ancient episodes are far more enjoyable in colour than the monochrome I first played them on back in the day)
Cheers to you all,
<bows>

This is exciting to hear! I hope this makes the process of finishing the game a lot easier :D
Ack! I didn't know of this journal entry till I noticed this thread today! I'm ashamed of myself..... :'(
Oh don't worry, there's a lot of unknown updates happening that will be announced once we gather them all and the newsletter is put together.
For the time being, don't be surprised of noticing things you don't recall from before :P

newsletter? I've never received one of those... meh, that's ok
however, I'm sorry to gripe so often about updates, I just can't wait for this to come out... and I'm hoping that I can play through the whole thing before I have to go on my mission... (that's 2 years away, you've got time)
We only send newsletters when we have big announcements or important updates, we haven't had a relevant event happen nor significant website changes since the demo.
So there hasn't been one going for a while.
Remind me to read this journal entry soon... In fact, I've got free time right now... XD
EDIT: I just read the journal entry, and it sounds like you guys got a lot done! I know how hard it can be to explain something online as opposed to doing it in person. But someone brought a DESKTOP?! Wow. That is really really funny... XD
Another new entry has now been posted. 8)
Thanks for the new journal, I'm glad to hear some more news!
