Hey guys! It's time to release last month's contest prize! It's an
amazing voice clip! Where is it from, you might ask. Well, it's taken from a sequence at Isle of the Sacred Mountain, Royal Nest with Lord Azure, Lady Ariel and Graham. Enjoy! XD

Sweet! :D
Finally! I can talk about it! The voice acting is FANTASTIC!
Ooooooooooooooooh. O.O
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. O.O
Ok, whose mind immediately went through inventory items that could be used to make wings? :P
Really though...I'm totally with AAAP. The voice acting is amazing. Lord Azure sounds so...exactly like he should. XD It's really...really amazing.
*listens to it a couple more times* XD
I especially love it when Azure says "Icarus fell." There's just a lot of meaning in the way he says it. He's very quick to denounce that any human could get close to the majesty of the winged ones and...more to it that I can't put my finger on. It's just...really great voice acting. XD
*concurs* :P
And if you think it sounds great, wait till you see it in-game! XD

That's
exactly what I was thinking! Total awesomeness.
This makes me so mad at myself for not sending in a voice audition when they were still open. :P
Though, I don't really sound the same as I did a few years ago, I'm sure. :P Ugh, I just wish I had more time and/or time management skills so I could attempt to contribute to TSL in some way.
Really, as a follower of TSL since like, foreverz, I've probably already given my "You guys do amazing work" spiel, but something about hearing these characters come to life like they do riles up my inner fangirl. I mean, the voice acting in KQ6 was great (much better than KQ5 anyway...though that has its own appeal, XD) but this just has so much more character to it. I feel like I'm making such a huge deal out of one voice clip, but it really has me blown away. :P Just...between the demo (which I still play... XD) and this clip, the sheer awesomeness of TSL is overwhelming me right now.
Not that you should tone it down; I don't mind. :P
/fangirl XP
EDIT: And I can't wait to get to be uber-overwhelmed by the actual game...Just saying. ;)

.........
Now you aoll know why IO was so hyper about the present: They spoke about me. Icarus. ;D :D
XD I did not even make that connection!
The dialogue is almost an easter egg when you think about it: it references a forumer, Icarus, and a favorite forum activity, soaring through the skies... ... ...in the asylum. :P
Is it just me or when you think of royal nest do you picture the winged ones laying eggs?

LOL! Actually, I do always think that whenever I hear that. All this time, I thought I was the only one. :P
Excellent... I'm more excited now, if that's possible. :D
Speaking of voice work... I haven't heard anything about
online voices/etc recently - is there anything that needs
to be done by any of us or are we waiting for now?
The egg thing.... sounds like it would hurt.
Have you already recorded your lines, Tolin?
Yep, did that a looooong time ago and sent them in - multiple versions of them even, just to be safe.
is the game near completition yet
You will find out the answer to that in the upcoming updates.

Now wait a minute from Mask of Eternity what was completion? Wasn't that like 7? I would imagine a '7' shows up somewhere in the game (whether it is a comment in the coding or there actually are 7 of something) so technically you could argue yes it is near completion :P

What on earth are you rambling about? ::)
/me thinks A3P messed up his quote-tags
Hey everyone. It's been a while, but I've been crazy busy. I started a new job in June, and the time between leaving in the morning and coming home at night is normally 13 or 14 hours. I've been trying to help Say and the team out as best I can, even helping with production where I can, so I haven't had time for the forum. However, Say asked me to help out again on the forums, especially with contests, so here I am.
As for the speculation on this thread so far, all I can say is :suffer:
Copycate remember in DoD the boatman says Judge the skulls on the left down creation plus completion equals all things.
You go down 1 row over 7 skulls to find the right one
So completion refers to the number 7 so then his question becomes is the game near 7 when in fact it could not only be enar a 7 but contain 7's. Make sense now?
Just now got a chance to listen to this. All I can say is....WOW!!!
Everything about this game just makes me more and more excited for the moment when we call all finally play it.

My endeavour to forget as much as I can about MoE is evolving quite successful as I do not remember anything about 7 being the number of completion and about skulls.. So if I understand you correctly, you were implying the game was at 97% of completion.
Zelly played this for me a few days ago, absolutely loved it!
And all this talk of upcoming updates is really getting me excited! :D
Hello all, I've been interesting in the Silver Lining for years (been popping in on the site randomly) and I finally got off my butt and made an account here.
So! I love the sound clip, and I have to say, did anyone else jump and immediately think, "PAWN SHOP!" during this clip? Because in KQVI, there's a set of wings in the pawn shop on the back wall... Alexander thought they were for some kind of sporting event, but maybe they were just lying in wait for Graham. :)
That's a really good theory, I had never even thought of that!
