Title: My Old KQIX Project
Post by: awesomeasapossum on October 13, 2007, 10:46:00 AM
This was made at least 5 or 6 years ago, when I first got "The Games Factory". Since then, my skills in The Games Factory have increased, but hopefully you can get a laugh out of the ridiculously nonsensical gameplay/puzzles. It stops abruptly, because I never finished it, but I'll leave the ending up to your imagination. XD :P

If you want to know how to get past stuff, I'll tell you.

Click here to download a .zip file containing the .exe for my incomplete version of KQIX! XD (http://rockfootage.org//files/15/kqix.zip)

NOTE: As of October 15th the game has been completed! If you played the game before Oct 15th and want to play the complete version, just redownload it from the link above.

It's missing the file: CNCS32.dll. :-\ Could you add that to the zip and re-upload it for us? :)

Gah! Not a missing file!! Let me see what I can do.

Here's the new link. (http://rockfootage.org//files/15/kqix.zip)

*NOTE: I EDITED THE LINK ABOVE AS WELL, SO BOTH LINKS ARE THE SAME*

You're still missing the .dll file. :P  It would probably be under \windows\system32 or \windows\system.

GAH!!!! XD :P

I'm so sorry!

It should work now. I hope you aren't expecting much, though. It's not great. It's more put up here for a laugh. :P

XD!  It was actually pretty fun, but once I jump in the drawer, the screen goes white.  Is that supposed to happen?

XD Yeah. That's where it ends. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I might finish it, but it'd be hard to make it the same quality. The puzzles weren't TOO hard for you? :P

Did you read the ReadMe or whatever, in the "Help" section?

You mean the instructions?  Yeah, I read em just to make sure I knew how to play it. :P

Yeah, that's what I meant. When I found it on an old disc I was like, "Hahaha! I remember this!" Unfortuantely, I didn't know how to get past the jail part. :P I had to cheat and open up the file with The Games Factory.

I haven't played it yet, because my comp is pressed for hard-drive space, but when I have the available space and time, I will definitely check it out!

I'm sorry that your comp is pressed. (For 11 MB?!) But I understand. Glad to hear that people are checking it out!  8)

My favourite part of the game, which I found to be a real hoot: http://www.badongo.com/pic/1912387 (I'm a cow fannatic XD)

Well I'm glad to hear that people were able to get through it, and enjoy it.

NOTE: The game is NOW COMPLETE! :D

If you redownload it, you'll be able to play the COMPLETE version.

Oh and just for good measure:

I'm actually happy I finished it now, as opposed to then, because if I had done it then it wouldn't have had the two TSL references.

lol, I didn't know how big the file was. 11 megs is nothing for my comp. I can handle that, but now I'm at school, using one of their comps... Such inconvenient timing! But I look forward to seeing these references!

There are two, but only if you take the wrong path, which you most likely will!

Yes, poor me. I'm going to new Hampshire tonight, so perhaps when I'm in the hotel I'll download it. I can't promise though...

XD Sure. Expect to be done with it in 5 minutes or less. Unless you get stuck, which I doubt you will. Anyway, if you only find 1 reference, you should replay it.
