I'm just kind of curious as to what other stuff everybody is interested in. Like TV shows, movies, and music and stuff.
Meee? I like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-Men: Evolution, Tenchi Muyo, and Cowboy Bebop. My favoritest band is Evanescence.

Gee, I don't really know what to say when someone asks me what my favorites are. If someone names a band/tv show/series, game, ... I can say whether or not I liked it. But to name favorites just out of the blue... not very good at it.
My favorite animal species is obvious: cats (from the very small to the very big). ;D
Music is mostly pop: currently my most favorite artists/groups are: Dido, No Doubt and Hooverphonic. From way back when: The Beatles. Apart from those four there also a few tracks I like here and there, but not everything or most of that artist, which is the case with those four.

Don't watch too many movies, but sf generally does the trick.
Ok since everyone is starting to talk about there Fav things, why dont we start finding out eachothers ages? cos i wanna know if im the youngest ;D
I am 15 years old, so try and beat that :suffer:
You could just look in everyone's profiles, you know... ;)
Anyhoo. I am neither the youngest nor the oldest. I will turn 24 this March.
Peace & Luv, Liz

Wouldn't that take a bit too long? :suffer:
I'm 18 1/2. I like Sailormooooooooooooon. I love it, in fact. And I have a weird obsession about mangoes, even though I don't like eating them. You're a cannibal if you do.
I have a very bad obsession with Sailormercury, she's just so great though, lol. I also like King's Quest, especially 6, but 9's gonna stun me, right? Also, as much as Yonkey protests, I'm so on the team, adn this light blue Teamster shirt proves it :D
Mango, where did your avatar go? :o It seems to have vanished. ;)

I dig old 80's and early 90's cartoons/kids' shows, too. (You know, back when Nickelodeon actually showed *good* stuff...) And those fun old PBS shows like Square One Television, The Electric Company, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, Ghostwriter, etc. (sigh) Television was so much more fun when I was a kid...
I sort of feel the same way, I believe nickelodeon as well as many -kid's concept- features have drive a bit away from what it used to be in a complete different situation.
I loooove cartoon network since I get to see the old shows too (all sort of like oldies, omg I so freaking love those <3) and I feel like it is a bit hard for me to relate a bit to these new cartoon concepts (myself) they are cool I mean wtf who doesnt know bob sponge, and actually think he is kinda cute, but I dont know hhaha I chose tweety or bugs bunny or those old comics waaay more rather than these new ones :P

I have chosen to do Graphic and web design somewhere in my future with careers and i'll continue with drawing in my spare time ;D
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Ilustration is also a career btw, I've been doing that one sided from my ACTUAL career which is bussiness administrarion in design, which its a 5 years degree that makes you evolve into management / gerency of art director (as a final goal of the career, you end up qualified to run a company, build a company or just directing into graphic design area)
Graphic design its not the same than webdesign at all, so if you want to commit to webdesign I suggest you to jump directly at that or that your graphic design degree will be oriented in that way, since when you mention "design" its usually the general term for prints, promo, corporative image, and many other fields that are hardly usually related to what web is.
I know this because its my field, I've been working on this degree that goes from advertising to marketing, and from design to photography and yet I believe from all that the specifics I've get to deal with web related are not exactly the main core, I've worked on the web field for over 2 years exactly (paralel with what other design features are, since I've had many clients) and I hate to admit I've learnt so much more by my own, bussiness speaking, than actually by the subjects schedule of what "graphic design" is.
I'm a big big nerd and I've taken a hard path, which Im glad to be getting over with since this career has been long yet I have 2 more sided which are ilustration (I won an award on it) AND webdesign (which I had a company too), as well as translation (thing that I've seen myself very much used to do for my clients actually, as to translate documents or material or promos english-spanish, thousands of times, I've got a degree on it :D) which its also another field, as well as PR is another field :P (which Im currently director)
lol.... reading all this I realize, wtf! no wonder why I have no f***ing life at all hahaha :D
Oh one final tip specialization on graphic design is a must, webdesign for example is a specialization on design.
It is a beautiful career but is as rewarding as much as you like it, since sometimes to be able to put up with clients... you must REALLY... really really like what you do :P

Me.
All I've seen, are the commercials. Since I find those disturbing, I think I'll avoid the cartoon.
