on the main page with the yellow and grey circles, the yellow ones dont appear sometimes and it comes up with a grey one instead
And then you dont know if someone has replied to it after you

Not really. The orange circles mean that there has been a new post in that forum since your last visit. I think if you click on the forum and don't read the new post, the indicator goes away. Also, I noticed when you use the View New Posts link, the orange circles stay when there aren't any new posts! :S
It's a pretty huge bug and it would take me way too long to fix it right now. I'll look into this in the future. The only thing I suggest is using either e-mail notification or the View New Posts link.
Ok, its just that one day i came to the site and was looking at the homepage of the forum and thought no one had posted since i had ;)

you know, it has happened to me before, but sadly as neil says its a forum thing :(, we did try to figure out if we could fix it like... 2 forums ago :P but oh well, JUST GO CLICKY EVERYWHERE :P that way you wont miss new posts :P lol
I use "view new posts" all the time, and pretty much read every single thread that way. ;)
