Which carries the general sentiment of, "No matter how dark it gets, the sun will eventually come out". :) (Either that or, "Every bad thing also has a good side", I forget which. :P )
Peace & Luv, Liz
correct, it is quite a nice name/line I think :)

I think it's the second one... but I would have said "Even in bad things there's a bit of good" ;) Kinda makes you wonder what that says about the game... is there something (or someone) good in the Black Cloak Society? :S
it says much more than what it seems :P
All bad guys are really good guys with an unusual agenda? :o
You tell us... ;)
I made an entry about this topic in the journal.

Yes i have heard of "every cloud has a silver lining" but not "every cloak has a silver lining"
It sounds cool, and i was just wondering how you came up with it ???
and also wondering who thought of it?
Ok now i understand why its called "Every cloak has a Silver Lining" ;D
I forgot that the others were altered phrases, so thanks for joging my memory ;B
again, I posted a topic about it in the journal section :D
An dby the way, King's Quest 1 did have a subtitle:
Quest for the Crown.
I bet it could be the opposite! Someone with apparently good intentions turns out to be baaaad. I always knew that Connor fellow was up to no good.
So every silver lining has its cloud, I say.
Or an otherwise good person ends up doing the wrong thing for the right reasons?
Peace & Luv, Liz
I think the subtitle on KQ1 was added post-humously, so to speak -that is, only after there turned out to be a KQ2. And in any case, "Quest for the Crown" is pretty self-explanatory...it's what you do in the game!
A parody of Quest for the Clown, perhaps? ;)
Didnt they get the name "Quest for the Crown" after they remade the game ???
"Every Cloak Has a Silver Lining" is only one syllable more than "Abscence Makes The Heart Go Yonder". Ahh, forgot about that one didn't you? ;)
lol, interesting fact indeed.
i thought it was 2 syllables more ???, or am i just dillusional ???
"Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder" has 8 syllables. "Every Cloak Has a Silver Lining" has 9 syllables. :)
Peace & Luv, Liz
so hang on this is what im getting
ab-sence makes the heart go yon-der
and
ev-er-y cloak has a sil-ver lin-ing
am i still dillusional ???
Ahhh. According to my Webster's, "every" is two syllables, "ev-ree". (And that's how I pronounce it, personally.) Maybe it's different in Australian English.
