It's this video game convention that takes place in Boston from March 26th through the 28th. Of course, I'm gonna attend to raise awareness about TSL!
I'm going to speak to a representative from Activision, in person, and try to convince him or her to resurrect the project and lift the C&D.
I hope I succeed... anyone else going to PAX East?
I didn't know about it but I'm not far from Boston, perhaps I'll make an appearance.
Awww, too bad I live on the opposite end of the country. If it comes to Seattle perhaps I'll stop by.
I'm planning to be there at least Friday and Sunday, since I do live in Boston. :) If I can get a 3-day pass, then it'll be a weekend-long affair!
I too may be heading to PAX.
My roomate is also in the indie business. His company One Shiny Pixel, is designing small games for the iPhone and he invited me to tag along.
The Saturday seems to be sold out, but I'm gonna try and sign up for Friday and Sunday aswell.
If any TSL fans are there we'ed be happy to talk to you in person.
I'm to far away being on the other side of the country. Good luck with the talks to Activision, let him know about the grumbling about this decision.

If you guys can take some pictures together, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to start working on giving the TSL community a face that goes beyond posts on a forum. Maybe start a thread where we can share stories of how TSL and KQ has touched our lives and pictures of fans (I'd kill for some pictures of your wedding Cat... hint hint hint).
A friend of mine who went to the first PAX on the West Coast said that twitter was hugely useful in letting people know where he was and knowing where his friends were while they were there. So I finally bit the bullet and signed up for twitter! Username is katiehal16 :)

By the way, just in case you don't know who I am, I work at Perkins School For the Blind, so I'll probably be wearing something Perkins-related, like my cap with the Perkins logo on it. I'll probably bring my Perkins ID that employees are required to wear nowadays.
I also have brown hair, and I wear glasses. I'll probably be hanging around the Activision booth, the Telltale booth, or the LucasArts booth.
I don't know for sure if I can get there yet... but we will see!
However, I'll probably tweet about it if I'm going/when I get there. My twitter is usually used for my club promoting so... uhm, I don't know if you guys would want to follow it regularly (it's an entirely different side of me than you guys see here, fair warning :P) but it's PantheonEvents.
Also, I will be the best looking, most fashionable person there. Just can't be helped. (DON'T BURST MY BUBBLE WITH YOUR REALITY! :P)
Though you should see my costume for the costume contest, if PAX East is having one. I'm probably going to dress up like Sam from Sam and Max. Gray suit, blue-and-black striped tie, gray fedora hat.

I live in New Mexico which is kinda near Seattle if you like long drives. I know of only one other person near me, besides my sister PJ2, and they live a good four hour drive north of me. I guess you could say that I live in the middle of nowhere too.

Damn it. I live in massachusetts and I'm not going to pax East. But, if anyone will be going to Anime Boston (it's like a month later in the same location) I'll be there for probably all three days. I didn't get tickets in time for PAX, and my manager hates me taking so much time off from work. And I have to save a bundle load of cash for Anime Boston too... I'll make a thread for Anime Boston closer to the time... It's sometime in April. I'd love to see photos of the community though at these events!!!!!!
Hmm, I MAY be able to attend a day for Anime Boston. I have Friday and Sat night off that weekend, but I'm going to a concert on Sat in Worchester (I live up in the Merrimack Valley). I probably won't know for sure until the last minute.

Well it'd be great to have a TSL get together there. When it gets closer to the time, I'll get more information out. I'm thinking we all should have someway to identify our forum names though... But we can think of that closer to the time...

Thanks! My boyfriend will be there to pick me up though so won't be spending anytime in the airport other than walking out to his car, same as last time. Which as I have no interest in Elvis or country music is probably a good thing. :P

Don't worry about the country music. It would be the Blues and Rock 'n' Roll in Memphis (also rap and hip hop). Nashville is country music. :X

Haha. I don't blame you. People I meet online always ask if I'm a hillbilly or something. Memphis is actually a melting pot of culture. I'm more of a rock and alternative person myself. I like meaningful rap and hip hop (lyrics without dubs, grills, bling, women, money, thugs, violence, etc.), but such songs rarely ever reach mainstream. Have a safe trip.

Both Rich & I officially have PAX East tickets and will be there, hopefully in some TSL shirts! If people are interested in meeting up, what day/time would work for other folks who are going?
