(kids) LARP
Live Action Role Playing. That event was specially for kids in the age of 6 to 15.
I luckily escaped to another dimension.
and is that your own costume?
No. As being a monster/walk-on I get a costume from the organisation. The (fake) wooden fighting stick is mine. the gloves and the purse too. Only the dress wasn't mine.
I love the way you dismiss the dress as not being yours, I would have called them "demon robes" ;) its more...demonish

And there happened to be a blood drive going on while we stopped at the high school, put on by a biker group. It was the best part of the trip!

They gave us little business cards that said, "Thanks for donating blood in Forks, Washington!" ;D It just happened to be the weekend we were there that they were putting it on, it's not a normal thing that they do all the time. I've been growing my hair out for the last year or so. I wanted to do it for a long time, but my high school wouldn't allow it. It actually caused an argument or two with my mother who went so far as to trick me into a trip to have my haircut one time (she said we were going out to eat, we all got in the car, but we stopped to have my hair cut first ::) )

Hey boys, never once did I say that I hate the books and hate all things Twilight! I have admitted (http://www.postudios.com/blog/forum/index.php?topic=1463.msg269908#msg269908) that I liked the books and enjoyed reading them. This is not to say that it was my favorite series of all time and that Stephenie Meyer is lyke my new bff, but it was decent. I'm not one of those girls. *Shudder*
That being said, I was forced to go on the trip. Honest! April made the reservations for three people before I had a chance to say otherwise. And hey, it was surprisingly fun. Like I said, the best part was giving blood with a biker group. A big guy named Joker (who was a real live hostage negotiaor!) held my hand when the needle stabbed me. Nothing that happened in Forks could compare to that moment!

LOL! You're funny, Tess. But that's exactly the reason why I
don't watch the movies. It's like Harry Potter--I like it all better in my head.
I read the first 20 pages of the first one and HATED it. It's written the worst fan fiction I've ever come across. And from what I've read about some of the things characters do...*shakes head.* not my cup of tea by any means of the imagination.
Anyway, since this is a picture thread, I'm going to post some pictures. I got a manicure and pedicure yesterday in one of my favorite colors. It looks good. The lady got annoyed with me because I messed up a nail because of my clumsiness :P She did do it again, though.

Coincidental indeed! :D Wow, never even thought about the connection.
I loathed for the longest time about the word "ginger." Here at college, so many people feel it is "OK" to call people ginger because South Park popularized it here in the states. Why is that because South Park says something makes it suddenly OK to "joke discriminate." It wasn't fun... but I've accepted it eventually, and use it myself for fun. Plus, I've heard that people use the word "ginger" in the UK instead of "redhead."
(Posted on: October 01, 2010, 11:41:17 AM)
In all this ginger talk... I decided to post my horrifyingly ugly mug.
I thought it would be nice to put a face to this weird guy who suddenly started posting on TSL
Wow...for a second there I thought you were a guy I went to school with. At a glance the resemblance is uncanny.
What is really weird is when you work in the school system and you see students that look so much like kids you baby-sat for 10 years before...

Oh, so that's how it is, is it?
Unfortunately, I don't negotiate with non-gingers. :D
War be declared in this case.
Maybe you just have a familiar face? :P
Or maybe someone famous, but I don't really care about celebrities. :P
You look super familiar to me as well Travis. Must be a familiar face.
Or you are one of a vast army of Travis clones -- I'm guessing the original.
PS, SUPER congrats on being a guy who can ACTUALLY pull off being a ginger. Most girls I've seen are totally gorgeous red-headed bombshells but most guys with red hair look... uhm.... less good. :P Way to be an exception!
As for your plans for world domination.... you may not be aware, due to its subtle nature but we are actually in charge of the planet already and that will not change under any circumstances. Many have tried. I am not, however, at liberty to discuss who we are.
That being said, vote Cray for Tyrannical World Dictator 2011!
(Our campaign slogan is "So the snipers won't aim for you!" Catchy, right?)

I didn't get that, I read that he "pulls off the ginger." That doesn't necessarily mean you think he's cute!
But he is. ;)
I'll admit, Travis is kinda cute for someone who declared war on my evil organization.
And Cray, I am the sniper. ;D

Quotedarthkiwi, you need to persuade Deloria that red hair is beautiful!
But red hair *is* beautiful! ::) I do keep trying to persuade her. ;)
I like how there are like five conversations going on at once. :D
Good lord. I leave for like 5 hours and the forums explode in my absence. :)
Wow, everyone, thanks for the nice compliment-ohs. :D Glad I can pull off that ginger look, I suppose.
And people don't often say to me that I have a familiar face... maybe just in the adventure game world I do. :P However, there are approximately 32 clones of myself across the planet, so it IS possible you ran into one of them. ;)
I never realized how many people have either taken over the world or plan on taking over the world. When these secret society introduce themselves at last, we'll all realize that because so many have sought this goal, we'll have to divide up the planet in territories by either geographic or fictional borders... We can call them states or countries. If someone invades the border of another; WAR BE DECLARED .
Wait a darn minute... that's how the world is now. Well then...

Want to clarify for some of us what a lolita is? :P
Great pics :D
Well, Wikipedia has an article here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolita_fashion) but it's basically just like, inspired by Victorian clothing and such. :)
Haids, hands off of Travis! You're getting married... whether you like it or not!!! :P
There won't be a war, btw, because we will never allow it and we will never lose control of the world in order to maintain our anonominty (don't argue with my spelling!! :P). We permit the wars there are -- but none of these people think they'll be taking over the world or that they could ever defy us.

About that... what if my organization is only letting you think the thoughts you are thinking, in which you think that you think that you are controlling the world, but rather--instead of thinking such thoughts--in reality we've only let you think what you currently thought?
So, in other words, you think that you think your organization thinks they have taken over the world, but really, my organization has control of it all and only letting you think such thoughts. So, the thoughts you are thinking are actually false.
Think about that.

You just let wars happen?

I came up with a few, though I'm not sure if you'd like them:
Greatest Army of Gingers (or GAG). "We will GAG your forces!"
Gingers Regarding International Politics (GRIP) "We will GRIP the world!"
Army of United Gingers Under Some Treaty (AUGUST)
Gingers Of Netherlands, Ontario, Rochester, Russia, Harrisburg and Everywhere Alliance (GONORRHEA)
I like the first one... But there is only one army of gingers... So it would be Great Army of Gingers. :D
For now, but what if a group branches off or someone else starts one? You should assert your dominance right away if you don't want to lose members. I hoped you'd pick GONORRHEA, though. I worked hard on that one. :'(
I just realized I keep going on this tangent, so here's a picture of me with my sweetheart.

I think it is my turn to say.... Terra you look oddly familiar to me... Do I know you?

And you are right about GAG. And I did love your GONERRHEA one, but it may give the wrong impression on the Organized Redheaded Association of Numerous Ginger Enthusiasts (ORANGE) who currently control a number of countries that are in RUG (Redheaded Union of Gingers). Not sure if that works, but I thought I'd try to be clever.
That's right. ORANGE RUG. :P And this is our appropriately named theme music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDQ7hXMLxGc
I've been sick all weekend--and when I'm sick, I have the most unusual sense of humor. I can't stop laughing at everything... especially at my own horrible jokes.
 From now on, your group is ORANGE RUG. Unfortunately, that tune is already taken in honor of Ernesto Che-Palmer, leader of our Communist Cult on Second Life. My sweetie and I even wrote English-translation lyrics for it.

Well... poo. By the way, can I just mention that the guy who composed the Soviet March (James Hannigan) that I linked is an absolutely amazing composer who rivals "more established" film composers. I frequently buy his soundtracks when they come out (He does, in my opinion, a better job at Harry Potter music than the current composer of the films).
ANYWAY. Fine, take your #$@!#$ song. ORANGE RUG allows this for one time only.
Cool Second Life pic, though! I've always been curious about Second Life, but just could never get into it.
Second Life is WEIRD. XD
I couldn't recapture my afro, so I was a green-haired girl who terrorized people with a popgun and wore hippie clothes. I also pulled a horse's head out of nowhere and fell off a floating continent because I can't drive go-karts for beans.

.... What? Ya... I suppose it is weird... :)
Seems like some kind of mind-altering substance... or mind-altering non-substance. :P
Well, I've only had a short experience with it. My friend had been bugging me to check it out, and I couldn't really stay into it without him around, despite all the weirdness. I mean, if someone even weirder than me came up and started talking to me, I dunno what I'd say. Or something. Something like a thing.
SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
The only reason I have a Second Life account was for an "alternative programming" class. We essentially played around with Linden Script. I made a working Warp Star, the heavily bearded guy in my first picture made teleportation pads, and my sweetie made a giant Pacman who followed people around and asked if they wanted to buy or sell human body parts. My school mainly uses it for diversity classes for freshmen, but they wanted the CS students to make stuff to aid in those classes.

I suppose I should clarify... He did the video game scores for the last two games. He's much more talented than his film score counterpart for those said movies. :)
I've always wanted to take some of his music and overlay it into the last two films to see what they would be like (especially the big battle at the end of movie five).

You're referring to John Williams? I disapprove.
Oh dear.
No, no, no... I'm being INCREDIBLY unclear lol.
James Hannigan scored the fifth and sixth Harry Potter games, but none of the others.
Nicholas Hooper scored the fifth and sixth films. Hooper tends to move away from what THE GREAT Mr. Williams did with the music.
James Hannigan not only returned the series to using John William's themes effectively, he has created new themes using John Williams original.
So, while Hooper abandons John Williams, Hannigan has done great work by being faithful and creating variants on the original themes.
If you were to listen to the soundtracks, you'd hear a bit of that... but unfortunately, the soundtracks don't contain anything that sounds "John Williamsy" because of copyright restrictions. If you want the whole James Hannigan experience, play the actual games... They're awful, but the music is awesome.
Hannigan's opening Theme in the soundtrack is A LITTLE like Williams. You can hear amazing similarities. Plus it is amazing. Check it-outify: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8celd-INyE,
The mods are gonna hate me... I'm terrible about staying on topic.

It's true! Whenever a newb would get onto the forum we'd be all, "yeah, you should have been here when all the awesome people were here <insert list of cool people who have left>" Your name did tend to come up. :P
I'll be over here... not having any more sugar...
Aww that's so cute!! I've kinda missed you too, hence the back-ness :P
Here's a photo of me from a few months ago. I had to get a shot with the moose since they're always showing up in the guild hall during the Quest for Glory games. As a result, I'm quite the moose fan. It's funny because are always giving me moose stuff, assuming it's just some random thing. Little do they realize it all stems from a 20 year old adventure/RPG game!
Awesome shirt!
Here's a picture of Benjamin from a few weeks ago.

...and another one - Devo Benjamin!
Awww...he's a cutie! He's grown up so much! I remember when he was born!
Awwww! Benjamin is so freaking adorable. When I started here he was a sonogram called Bun E. Abbott. :D
And corruptcarebear, that shirt is hot. :smitten: Makes me like you even more! ;)
Hooray for having an awesome shirt haha! Noticing your King of Town, another favorite shirt of mine is definately my Trogdor one. ;D
Here's one more of me playing live a few years ago with my band at the time. I had wanted to name the band "Society of the Black Cloak" as a nod to Kings Quest. Sadly, everyone else in the group felt taking the name from an adventure game was lame. BOO!
Aw, that's too bad.

lol sitting in the hall way, bored outta my mind that day.
My sister and I were cleaning house the other day and we emptied out a cupboard in the kitchen. Ash was all, "Y'know, I bet we could fit in there."
We fit.

Yes, I am wearing my Twilight shirt, FYI. ;] It's my "clean the house" shirt.
Cool! I'm not the only one who likes to climb into cupboards! My sister could fit in a suitcase in high school.

I got Helga Hulfflepuff in my chocolate frog. The pumpkin juice I did not like one bit, but that's not surprising considering I don't like pumpkin all that much. ::) We also got a wand, but not at Ollivander's because there was a gigantic line waiting to get in. Went in all the other shops though.
The HP part of the park was, of course, *crowded*. We got early admission to the park with our package and there were already a ton of people there, and than that just tripled when the park opened to the general public. The main HP ride in the castle though was amazing ;D, and we managed to get on it twice with virtually no wait (first time when the park had just opened to people with early admission tickets, and second time when we went as single riders and skipped the 60 minute wait). Only drawback to that was that we were rushed through the touring part, where you see the dungeons and classrooms and portrait room and what not.
WOW.
That looks AMAZING! I'm so jealous of you, Tess!
I'm still amazed that we got to go at all, has been totally worth saving up for . Hope you get a chance to go too sometime! :D
Gosh, me too! Were the stores pretty expensive?
Pretty much what I'd expect from an amusement park like that. The frog was $10, the juice $6, the Gryffindor mug we got was $20, and the wand was around $31 (Blegh, just realized how much we spent today; at least it was Christmas money :P). The food I don't know as the breakfast we got was free with the package and that was the only time we ate in the park.
So basically Disneyland prices. :X
Yea :-\ Usually I try not to buy stuff in those parks cause they are so expensive, but HP stuff we couldn't resist XD

With all of the various countries we come from around here, I'd be curious to hear everyone's different accents. Even Cat, who comes from the Southern US, or Katie/dd/Cray, who are from the Eastern US. We should all record ourselves saying the same sentence and compare accents. ;D
Sounds like a great idea, Haids! Actually there's a video blog thingy going around for accents. My sis-in-law did it. I should find it and we could use that :P
Ok, I found the list! It's a list of words you say...then a list of questions where you read the question and answer it. Who wants to do this??
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you change the TV channel with?
Dude! Totally interested! Hook us up, Cat!
There's a simple but good online service called Vocaroo (http://vocaroo.com) that allows users to record and send audio.
You'd be terribly disappointed--I've grown up 20 minutes from Boston and have no accent of any sort. :)

Hey guys. XD I figured since it's been a while, I might as well post a recent picture of me. In case you forgot what I looked like, here you go. :D

XD It's theoretically just pink, but it's a bit washed out. :P

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I thought I left my 90's hair...in the 90's. I guess when I'm sleeping my hair has other ideas...channeling its inner Etherian prince perhaps?
Hrmm... I don't quite see it... unless your bangs are sticking out a good inch-and-a-half to two inches. :P
They are! It's scurry. It's a lot more sticky-outy than the picture shows. Eeeeeesh!
LOL. well, no one's quite at their best hair-wise in the morning. Mine can be scary sometimes, especially since it's short!
Dah we all have bad hair days. VBut there are worse comparisons, right? :P
Kaite you look so pretty in the wedding picture. Well in all of them but in that one especially. It's natural and shows you're having a good time.
Aw, thank you! :)

Aww, I can't see it.
You look nice! :)
So I've got a hair appt in a little over a week, and I've realized hey, there's no reason I can't do fun stuff with my hair color now! I work from home, and in the gaming industry--it's almost weird I haven't done anything wacky yet :) Anyways, I want to something akin to this image, with bold streaks of a bright color. (except my hair is/will be about chin length)
I'm not sure what color to do, though. Bright red on more mundane red? Bright red on brown? Purple on brown? Purple on red?
Suggestions, fellow Phoenicians? :)
O_O you know, because of your avatar, that's actually pretty accurate to how I pictured you! Awesome pic! :)
haha, neither is of me, actually :) My avatar is an early concept image of Erica Reed, and that image there is a random one I found online. This is me:
It's okay; we all hope to be our avatars. :P Empress of Austria-Hungary would be so fun and my boyfriend wants to be a disembodied skull and my best friend wants to turn into a Delling-Odin hybrid with an XD for a face. :D
Hey, that floating disembodied skull is Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos, spawned from the fevered mind of H.P. Lovecraft! Who wouldn't want to be that? :D
To me, you are the empress of Austria-Hungary.
Oooooooooooh, Katie, I dig the black and red! Do it! Do it!
If you're going to do anything on brown, make sure it's that dark chocolate brown like in the picture (I'd say do black, but I think the dark brown would go much better with your skintone. I can't pull off black either XD). If the brown is too light, it can clash really badly (my hair is naturally a relatively light brown and I've made some poor decisions). The red on red would probably either clash or not show up enough to have an effect, especially after the bright red starts to wash out (which it usually will a bit faster than a more natural color). Personally, I've never tried to mix bright colors like the purple and red, but I like the idea. XD
(That said, bright colors over a dark color are always good, whether you pick purple or red. :))
No new posts since May, really!?
WHERE DID ALL MY FRIENDS GO? :(

Looking great!! You can definitely tell you've lost the weight :) Congrats! It's not easy!!
Thank you :D It hasn't been the easiest thing but I feel better about myself. I used to HATE exercise. It was like pulling teeth to even get me to walk around a park track. Now I like it because it's an outlet for my frustration. I'm still 50 lbs from my dream weight, but I'll take it one step at a time. I admitted my weight to someone at the gym today and they thought I was kidding. Well, I'm 5'11" as well as heavy so my weight distributes differently.

I was there too, it isn't wasy at all. I'll support you for whatever you need, maybe we should get a health thread going :)
That is awesome Kristen!! Congrats!
A health thread would be great. It is definitely not easy and support us always good. I've gotten out of shape in the last year or so between not enough time/money to keep up jiu jitsu. I really miss it and would love to manage to stay more active than I have been. (Though a sprained foot the last few weeks hasn't helped matters!)
I have a new headshot!

Agreeing here! It's totally not easy! I weighted myself right before my 10 year class reunion and realized I was at least 30 pounds lighter since they last saw me...but that took 10 years of getting some weight off, and then putting a little bit on, getting some more of it off, putting a bit on. This last year has been the first time I have done regular exercise...and that's with Erik and I running on a regular basis. Now let me tell you: I HATE running. Even after a year, I HATE it! And yet, every time we finish, I feel so good about myself. As of last week, we got 5 miles in, which is the first time we've ever done that. We've been stuck at 4 miles for a while now! AND I did my 1-year mark of measurements: 5 pounds gone, but 29 total inches!
As a reminder and an encouragement, Kristen: It takes longer to get weight off when you're exercising because you're building muscle...and muscle weighs more than fat :) The best thing to do is start measuring and weighing yourself once every month or so. Or just post before and after pics here every few months so we can tell you how great you look :P
Graham, you look great! Haven't seen pics of you in FOREVER!!

So Erik and I were in a wedding over the summer. This is probably my favorite picture of us that was taken :)
Can you two look any cuter than you already do? Cat, you glow. I guess happiness suits you <3
You're such a sweetheart, Say. All I can say is that God has blessed us :)
Oh, and here's one of the kitties. Who knew they'd start our Bible study with us :P
And when will we get to see an updated picture of you, Beautiful?
I have always thought you have been one of the kindest and sweetest ones around here, it was only a matter of time for you actually find someone who would care and love you as much as you deserve :)
Those kitties I bet are spoiled rotten haha, they're the babies of the family? :D SO darn cuteee <3 <3 <3
And about me, I will posting a piccie soooooon :D It's still the same old dork fase, only older :P
You, older *pffft*
Who knew that it would've been the Forum to have brought Erik and I together, right? And yes, Immy and Zara are spoiled rotten...and they know it! And yet, have absolutely completely different personalities. No real babies for us yet :)
This is an old pic (new for you guys, since we haven't seen or spoken to each other in like 6 years)
I may or may not post new pics, it depends. I want moar pics to post more pics D:
Still got that sunny smile, huh? ;D

When did you get married? :o
I don't get married until Oct 6 next year, but I found a great Groupon for a local photographer that expired in Jan., so went ahead and used it while it was still warm. I loved him though, so I'll probably hire him for the wedding too.
What a smart lady, it's like you're getting married twice!! :D
Oh my goodness everyone is so gorgeous! XD
Tess, you look so, so beautiful. :D
And Say, it's good to see you again. Your smile is still stunning. <3

Tess, you look stunning and the lighting is amazing. :)
And I absolutely insist on pictures of Jafar. :P
Fine, fine, if you insist. This is something of a distant picture taken of a large group though, so I may not stand out much. (http://static.urbantimes.co/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/earth-from-space-western.jpg) ::)

THE FORUM ATE THE PEEKTURE :(
Is it from tinypic? If so, make sure you have the img tags on it. If it's just an attachment, make sure the size is correct. It should accept jpg pics!
It looks like you're trying to upload a file from your C drive. The [ img] tags are just for images that have online URLs (e.g., http://i50.tinypic.com/1g3ynm.png), so you can either upload the file to a photo sharing site to have the picture all in-post and pretty, or you can just upload it as an attachment (under additional options when you edit your post). As it is, you're asking the internet to locate a file on your computer, and that's never going to work. XD

Anyways.... I wouldn't expect you to recognize me Say. Do you realize I was fifteen (mayyybe sixteen?) when I joined this forum? And, do you realize that I am now 25? It's been a decade! A lot changes in a decade! ...like my username! (You all thought I was going to get sentimental, didn't you? :P)
Although most of the changes have been recent, with my most recent bout with Crohn's disease... my face puffed up on the Prednisone and when I de-puffed I found it nicely filled out. Actually, I'm at my heaviest weight ever right now -- 129 lbs. And if I may say... I look gooooooooooood. And I'm not even back to the gym yet. Can't weight. (Punnnnn! :P)

My nickname is Lork, Sir Cray. I figured you guys wanted to not have my nickname be "Graham", because you were talking about everyone's favorite adventurous knight, not that that was your real name.
So... should I call you Sir Cray-Q-uestie the Mutton now? or should I stick to Sir Cray as my own signature nickname for you?
I go by many names, you may use whatever one(s) you feel like in whatever combination.
In fact, if you took all the variations of Graham that get used, plus every name I use in video games..... that's not even half. The file the FBI has on me must be GINORMOUS.

....although, to be fair, I think the boots and the bridesmaid dress are too matchy-matchy for my personal tastes. The dress needs some not brown-ness on it. The boots aren't the problem! I too love the boots -- it's the dress, and since its a bridesmaids dress we can safely assume that it was out of Haids' hands! The dress isn't bad either, I just don't love it.

Ba-dum-ching!
Mostly it was inspired by the "Urban Fantasy" subgenre--basically, magic and monsters and fairies oh my! but set in modern times and usually doing the "hidden in plain sight" schtick. One of my favorite genres, personally. :) Some good examples are The Dresden Files series and the October Daye series.

D'awwww, Deloria and Snabbot, you're making me blush! :) Yes, a cowboy wedding it was! And I mus say...in Summer 2012 I went to five weddings (two of which I was
in the wedding party), and this was by far the most laid-back, chill wedding I've ever been to! The bride is one of my really, really good friends, and she wore pink cowboy boots under her beautiful lacy white dress. The groom and all of his boys wore Levis and black vests and hats. Unfortunately, we girls didn't get to rock the Stetsons, but it's all good. I wore the groom's during the garter toss!

It might look a little overwhelming in the photo, but it all came together beautifully. We wore yellow sunflowers in our hair, so that little pop of color did wonders!

Well... I have a before shot, and I took piccies to make a cover photo for facebook. Then I went out and tried to find a place to take my hair... ... ... and no luck. XD
But, it turns out there is a place across town (across town but still walkable). Not sure if I'll do this this weekend as in tomorrow or next weekend now. :-\ (3 or 4 is kind of "late" in Ireland for such things ::) XD Oh, the Irish...))
OMG why?! no. No!
Bai hair :(
Oh Say, relax! It'll grow back!
I am thinking about cutting mine, too *big fat tear*
Nuuu! Use the hair clippings to make a mini Mote. :motestare:
My initial reaction was one of disgust, but then I realised that I was just jealous and that would be awesome. :P

And no, my real name is not Morales Raja :P
but +5 internets to whoever gets the reference
*giggles madly*
XD

Awwww! :D
Ok, fine, and no, I haven't cut my hair yet. :P
(Mostly, I'm just posting this b/c 1--Say used to be rather insistent :P and 2--I took this one recently and rather like it.)
So many hairs! :o And you really want to cut those locks?
The plan was always to donate.
That seems to be harder to do in Ireland. :-\ (Back in the States, you can pretty much just walk into most hair salons/barbers and donate your hair if it's long enough and of the right quality. I have found ONE place in Galway that takes donations, and then only at 12 inches (most charities want 10). *shrugs*)
Hey! You stole that picture from my oldest brother! >:(
Next time on Beneath the Silver Lining, Terra reunites with her long-lost brother. And Deloria is still preggers! But who is the father? Is it Darth? Or is it Prince Harry? Or maybe... it's someone else! But who?

XD I love it! :D
My only problem with the picture is that my eyes are closed... I have been "informed" today that my "eyes are always closed" apparently. :P
Deloria's pregnant...BUT NOT FOR LONG! The abortion party's May 18th. Will you be important enough to be invited?
is there a theme to the part? maybe funny hats?
It's a masquerade ball! :D Masquerades are the most civilised of all parties!
A masquerade abortion party? That's perfect for more daytime soap opera shenanigans to happen!
Choice party events include the true father being revealed at the climax of the party! :o
Haha, "climax". XD
This just in: Otto Eduard Leopold, Prince of Bismarck, has been found! He has, in fact, been reincarnated! See page 8 for pictorial evidence.

I'm sure you will all agree that the resemblance is uncanny.
:o It is rather.
OMG! Baby Farquhar is just too damn adorableeeee, thank you so much for sharing. You two are such an inspiration, if I remember correctly you guys have been together for very long time :3
AND BRANDON HASN'T CUT HIS HAIR! That is like, best news of all day :D
It's been forever so here goes one from me. Dorky Say. Tired. Coffeeless. Missing you all bunches.
Looking good, Say! :D
"The tired Say smiles as she thinks of her forum frands... fopmuffin." (I was going to just throw in "purple-monkey-dishwasher"... but fopmuffin was more forum appropriate, if not situation appropriate.) :P
...and, yeah, I have yet to cut my hair, but it is something I think about doing just about every weekend. :o (The weird thing now is that I think timewise I've passed the point at which it would have been ideal to cut it for it to be mostly grown back when I'm finishing up my PhD. Then, the other thing is, the shorter front bits are grown out enough now that they don't quite reach where I tie it back to and yet still flap around freely during TKD or Capoeira ::) ...those jerk-hairs. :P)
here's me, wearing my hipster hat!

When you live in Europe you occasionally get stuff in French :P
That's not French. :P "Espace" is the only French in that, and I suspect that is also Spanish. :P
Deloria-Pregnancy-Update [spoiler](which is actually a Deloria-Drug-Update by Deloria, in the third person for humour because Darthkiwi is worried people will think him nasty for talking about her like this, particularly when she's not actually pregnant):[/spoiler] She keeps crying. All the time. Over how beautiful science is. And the monarchy. Everything is so beautiful. XD
and now you know how terrible my french is :P
so... that phrase starts out in England, right, sweeps southwest into the Atlantic before veering violently and rapidly northeast, cutting through Spain so quickly that it can only get "del", before ending up in France to acquire "espace"... it is technically a trilingual utterance... but ::)

... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4U_RvUYINpo) That sounds about right.
You've just set her off again. ::) Congratulations.
Also, showing her things that made her sad before this whole fiasco started are just going to make her sadder. XD
That song made her elated before all of this though... :(
It wants to be a core so badly and it knows it will never, ever go to space.
I did a Regency Alice cosplay at a Steampunk Alice in Wonderland event! :D And I held a birb!
Yay birb! :D Such a pretty couple. <3
:D
