The original "did you know" thread was lost in the move, so time for a new one!
Did you know that my current purse is simply a glittery pink tote bag?
Nope. XD
Did you know that my purse and my wallet have parts on them made of purple and blue marbled duct tape?
Haha, no, but that's awesome! Did you make them yourself?
Did you know that I got weepy when I found out TSL was going to be released?
No, but that's perfectly understandable!
Did you know that my sister is going to the same university I did next year?
No, but that's awesome! :)
Did you know that I have a huge collection of LJ Smith books from when I was a teenybopper?
Okay, I didn't knew that. *tries to recall who LJ Smith is*
Did you know that the other day I was reading a book in the sun and now my chest is slightly tanned except for the part where my book was :-\
Haha! The perils of the Literati.
Did you know that this summer I have about 25 books to read, and I've barely started even one of them?
No, but what an awesome summer project! I love reading.
Did you know that I was 18 when I got my driver's license?
reading so many books is only awesome if it is for fun, not if it is obligitory. And that is pretty good to get your licence at 18, I didn't had the money to start taking lessons till I turned 21, got it shortly after though.
Did you know that I have no idea why some people can make a double post and both posts count for your postcount and others make a double post and it gets merged and only counts as one post. it is really bugging me!
I hadn't noticed, but it sounds like a question for the "technical support" section.
Did you know I'm going to see Adam Lambert in concert in August?? :D
No, but that sounds fun. XD

I think the admins and stuff can make double posts, but people who might abuse that to just up their post count (read: non-moderators XD) get their posts merged by default.
Did you know I'm obsessed with Dragon Age: Origins and just completed Awakening yesterday?
Uhmmm... no I didn't, but in that case I am sending you a PM as soon as I am done with this post!!
Did you know I'm a HUUUUUUUUGE nerd for anything High Fantasy?
Didn't know to that degree, but cool as so am I.
Did you know that I like to cross stitch?
I didn't! Interesting. What have you cross-stitched? Anything King's Quest-related?
Did you know that when I get mirgraines there's a freaky aura that flashes across my vision (and makes me throw up)?

Well, only actually finished a couple kits. Takes me years as I work on it so infrequently. No King's Quest, I'd love to but I'm not good enough to make my own patterns.
I get those too, and dread them - I hate them as much as the actual pain. Never been quite that bad though. :(
Ugghhhh, a migraine sister. I'm sorry, Tess! *Hugs*
Migraine sister, cycle sister, how many sisters do you have? :o
Well, three apparently, since I have a cycle sister, a migraine sister, and a biological sister. Always willing for more, though!
I didn't know that!
Did you know that, for no real reason, Rob didn't respond to the last "did you know?" with one of his own? :P
Yes, I did seem to notice that. Hmmm.
Did you know that I haven't eaten fast food in almost four years?
I didn't know that, but, I have also found out that people keep different opinions about what is fast food and what not.

I didn't respond to the last "did you know" at all! the one with the aura flashing across Haids vision. So that would explain why I didn't respond with my own. ::)
Did you know that I always have to laugh about negative comments, they are usually much more fun to read then positive. I used to visit the application forum of quite a rude guild that played on the same wow-server as me and go and read the declined applications. They were quite hilarious, too bad the guild disbanded :P
I did not. Negative comments tend to make me mad, I take things too personally. ::) I know, grow up, Haids. But it's good that you have a good outlook on negative comments. :)
Did you know that I have nightmares about sea monsters all the time?
No I did not.
Did you know I have to cut my toenails today?
Hmm, didn't we have a toenail conversation elsewhere...?
Did you know that I'm scared to death to get my blood drawn, even though I have five tattoos?
I didn't, what is so scary about getting blood drawn? not like a few drops make a difference with most people anwyays. and it only stings for a fraction of a second.
Did you know I am incapable of making 1 person meals? today I made macaroni and cooked for 3 days at once by accident :-\
Actually, I did know that. You told me once and I find it adorable. :smitten:
And it's not so scary that they're taking my blood, it's the needle and the full vial of bright red blood. It makes me woozy just to see it!
Did you know that the first movie I remember seeing in theatres was Beauty and the Beast?
Nope, but that's pretty cool. :D
Did you know that the first movie I remember seeing in theaters was Pocahontas? XD
(I fear for children who grow up in an age where their first movie can't be a traditional Disney Movie.. :P)
No, and that is equally cool! :) Disney movies are the best.
Did you know that my mom, aunts, uncles, and grandpa all worked (and some retired) from Disneyland?
No, but that's cool.
Did you know that my sister cried at the haunted house in Disneyworld?
I didn't know that.
I think the first movie I saw in the theatre was Titanic, when my sister dragged me along with her friends. she cried at that movie and I had to laugh at the same time. It was the only time my sister asked me to come with her to the cinema ::)
Did you know I have my housenumber on my keychain so I won't forget where I live :-\
No, but that's a good idea. I need to have something on my keychain to remind me where I parked! I always forget and have to call someone--"Hey, I forgot where I parked, you need to talk to me until I find my car!"
Did you know that about me?
No, but,... how does someone talking to you helps you find your car? :-\
Did you know that the only phonenumber I remember is my dads work number?
Quote from: B'rrr on July 04, 2010, 06:06:47 PM

It's more a moral support thing. I hate wandering around aimlessly, so having someone on the phone makes me feel more secure.
You need moral support to find your car... *ponders* ;)
Hey, I'm the youngest child! I need moral support for everything.
Did you know that I'm the baby in my family?
Yes. You just told me. ;D
Did you know that I, too, am the youngest in my family?
No, but rock rock on! ;D
Did you know that I would rather have a pink sapphire engagement ring than a diamond? ;)
Who wouldn't? :P After you get your first diamond ring, the novelty of having one wears off fairly quickly. :P Though I'm more partial to blue sapphires myself. :)
Did you know Haids' post was a disguised hint for Rob? :P
What ever makes you think that? :P
Did you know that I use butter when I'm making a tortilla pizza? (Tortilla, sauce, cheese. The butter keeps the cheese from drying out. :P)
No...interesting. Is that good?
Did you know that I still have my baby blanket? It's yellow.

As weird as it sounds, it tastes great. :P
No, but cool. Think mine is still in my parent's linen closet.

I doubt you turning brunette has anything to do with you moving to washington ;) I too was born as blonde actually, till I was about 7 years old or so. I must say I had much more fun as a blonde! ::)
Did you know that it is not a good idea to clean the showerheadthingy while it is turned on and you are all dressed up and ready to go out? ::)
Yes, I knew that! Actually I was having this conversation with someone the other day--we concluded that it's more productive to clean your shower in your birthday suit.

My mom was having very high blood pressure due to the pregnancy so as soon as they realized how much danger she was in they did a c-section. Dangerous for me, especially back then, but I pulled through, obviously. My parents have pictures of me in the nicu - was hooked up to all kinds of tubes and such. Makes me feel rather glad to be here.
