Well, that didn't take long. Cool, thanks! :)
Awesome Cesar! I'm super excited for this game. I think it will be the best King's Quest yet.
KITTY EDIT: Edited for language. :cat:
Sorry about that guys. The King's Quest Nostalgia is pumping and the bad word just popped in there.
Who else noticed that picture #39 of the Graham art says "ROSELLA'S WEDDING?!"
Very exciiiiiiiiiiting!
Now that it finally works, i downloaded and watched the Graham Arts witch was Cool. ;D
I saw the Last Screen where Graham is holding a Snake and he Swears a Cat Load, will there be Swearing in Chapter 1, i hope Not :(
Why does it say Free Download with a Zero Price Tag. :P
There's no swearing in the game.
The zero price tag--well, obviously, because we aren't charging anything for it!
Being a TSL Fannatic means automatic admission to the fan club of course but I can't help but wonder whether any of that artwork has been made available somewhere during an IRC-chat in the previous eras(?sp).
wait...
you have to join the fanclub to download the game?
I am gonna join it either way, but just wondering.
and as for this:
QuoteKITTY EDIT: Edited for language.
why not just add a filter?
I think I remember it gets f*** and s***.....
I didn't realize what you meant, daventry, until I downloaded that concept art just now. LOL, I don't know who made that picture, but I personally think it's hilarious!

I also noticed that. It could be from some cut part in the game, but still, it's pretty cool.

Because I'm not an administrator and can't add a filter :P Plus, it makes people more conscious about language instead of it being filtered out automatically :P
And not a problem, Liggy :) Just keeping it family-friendly. I can totally understand the excitement!
The doodles of Graham and his many facial expressions remind me of Harrison Ford XD

I definitely thought the same thing, especially with regard to Graham_021.jpg.

Katie said in another thread that they modeled Graham off of Harrison Ford. :pleased: I could definitely see it, too!
You can never go wrong with Harrison Ford.
:smitten: It's true.
I wonder if a Kings Quest Movie could work with Harrison Ford as King Graham, quick who is good with Photoshop. :P :P :P
Much as I like Harrison Ford, film adaptions of video games almost never work, as a general rule.
:P This was another of the very early concepts for King Graham :)
Very early indeed!
I like it. :lovegoggles:
He sort of has a mullet...Or is that a ponytail? Either way...
All I could see was the face. ;)
You can see one side of his head too, but a mullet or a ponytail is usually located at the back so you can't tell from that.

:suffer:
You guys may want to go check out the Fan Club today to see some more goodies :)
Thanks for the new concept art.
I am really loving the expression sheets. I'm not sure why; they just REALLY seem to bring the character to life for me. All of the expressions are great and none of them (so far :P) have been overdoing it and coming off as cheesy. This is really great stuff. ^^
Are you ready? Are you excited? Did you already set up your account?
Two minutes!!!
I think they are ready to explode. ;)
Are you still looking for new team members? I'm interested in one of the programmer positions and amongst my experiences, have experience in game development having worked for a game studio. My experience is in Unity though, but am comfortable working with engines and very familiar with OOP.
We're always taking applications so feel free to submit your resume.
Would you guys be accepting anymore QA testers? My only experience is playing Betas for games like World of Warcraft, Resistance 2, Warhammer Online, Starcraft 2, etc. But I'm serious about submitting concerns with the game. Other than that, my only job experiences have been retail. :P
You're more than welcome to send your resume in - right at the moment I think I have enough people on the QA team but if I need more in the future it's always good to have information for people already submitted.
Happy Release Day 2.0!
As a friendly reminder to the Guests strolling around on the forums, remember to register for a Fan Club account! You'll need one to access the store and download the game. It is quick, simple, and free! As well, we do not give out your email addresses or any other details to anyone at all.
Here's my contribution to our fan club.

I up one you with...STATE OF THE AIR FANS.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gChp0Cy33eY
(Actually this kind of 3D animation is what I also do for clients on the side other then TSL.)
I spent a lot of time researching that fan, because I was very interested in its claim to be the first bladeless fan. It turns out that inside the cylindrical base of the unit, there is an impeller, which is basically a fancy term for fan in a tube.
So, wait...it really does have blades, you just can't see them 'cause they're in the base?
Yes. The impeller hides the blades, but they are still there. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8he8afjQyd8#t=0m57s)
Kind of lame calling it a bladeless fan, then. :P Despite that, though, it is pretty cool (no pun intended).
Certainly, it is ahead of typical fans in terms of safety and aesthetics; it's just not bladeless as Dyson claims.
