Fantastic job guys. Simply amazing. Every second of playing I've felt like this has just been the perfect addition to the King's Quest series. You've absolutely nailed every aspect of the games and I can't think of a single thing I haven't liked yet. I'm definitely looking forward to future episodes and will definitely be paying for any commercial games you do come out with.

And the script for both the characters and the narrator is often downright hilarious.
I must say that I love the references to the Forum. Some pretty inside jokes there. And Amy does a fantastic job as the narrator.
There should be an inside joke walkthrough because I caved and registered today to get the game, lol, so I'm not familiar with jokes. So I bet every single forum joke is, in general, lost to me. :-*
I agree; the game is great and I'm so grateful to those that made this/contributed!
Liked it so much that my sister stayed up 2 hours past her bedtime playing, lol. She usually sleeps 4 hours but sometimes she sleeps 9, so she might be in trouble, lol. Signs you are a TSLWiDMB addict . . .
LOVE the references to the other games. This is what people complain about with regard to television shows, which would obviously apply to other similar mediums, so I'm glad there is a sure tie-in!

Explaining jokes is usually really bad though ;) but I know what you mean, I miss a lot of references when watching tv shows or other things.

Agreed: the game is fantastic! It ties into the wider KQ storyline very elegantly - the opening movie does a great job of binding the entire royal family together and relating them to their roles in earlier games, particularly KQ6 and 7 - and it really does feel polished enough and cinematic enough to tell the story as it deserves to be told. I never stopped being delighted when I saw how painstakingly Phoenix had recreated scenes from KQ6, and I actually gasped when I first saw the Land of the Green Isles actually spread out beneath me and recognised all the landmasses. And the fact that the opening movie is told entirely without words but conveys what's going on perfectly is a brilliant illustration of the ability of the team and the technological ability of the engine.
Can't wait for the next episode!
