I was wondering if there was a quest points system like past King's Quest because I couldn't find anywhere that showed my points but I could hear the little jingle when I did something good(something that gave a point).
Maybe I haven't looked well, but where can I see my points if it is possible?
I haven't seen any place where the points total is listed, so I don't know that there is one. I agree that the jingling sound leads you to believe you're gaining points.
Right, I did notice that. I believe it was said somewhere that we'd get a status screen showing completion percentage, number of points, etc. at the end of each chapter (back when this was being done in chapters) and I guess that didn't transfer to episodes. It definitely seems to be keeping track of it somehow... No idea how to see it though. :-\
I do wonder, are there any optional puzzles?
I too missed the ability to see how many points you have gained (and what the maximum achievable amount is). but if there are no optional points I can understand that there is no need to keep track of it (besides indicating how far you have progressed).
We took it out at the end. it didn't work with the episode formula.
