Yes, I still want to be a Hero. I would think they could take both of these series to new levels.
There's a project called Hero 6 (http://www.hero6.com/new/index.php) that's intended to be a spiritual successor to the QFG series. It's been quite a while since I heard anything from there, though, so I'm not sure what its status is.
Here is about as good as it gets:

Well... I haven't heard of anything regarding a Quest for Glory 6.... but....
Seeing as the Hero became the King of Silmaria in the last game, I think most people would be hard presed to find more glory in their life... short of finding a wife, getting married, having kids, having one child get kidnapped, have a heart attack...
Oh wait.... I just morphed Quest for Glory into King's Quest. ooooooo

Wait, no, you left out being saved by your only daughter and having your son become king of a foreign island! That's pretty glorious.
Wait...hold the phone...I live in the Pacific Northwest, those are just rainclouds. Silly oberonqua!
Maybe QFG5 is a prequel to KQ1???
clearly not! :P
at the end of QfG 5 you become king by contest and even before that you were adopted as a prince. in KQ 1 you were neither of those two.

King Edward's great great grandfather perhaps?
Let me guess, in the meantime the land was renamed aswell? (and wasn't it a bunch of island you became king of in QfG5?)
You got me Brrr.... I can't riddle that one out.
I probably could but the fun factor has been completely destroyed. So I shall hang my head in shame.
Bah ha ha! I knew someone woulc getcha, oberonqa! :pleased:
I thought you got married in QFG5?
You can, yush.
I think there are about 5 different wives to pick from.
Four wives. Gnome Ann's taken already. :P
You could flirt with Budar as well, but she's also taken.
