Hi there! My name's Marco and I'm new around here.
I'm part of ScummBR (www.scummbr.kit.net), a Brazilian game translation community. We voluntarily translate games (most of them are adventures) to Portuguese, Brazil's official language. Among ScummBR previous translations, there are titles like Monkey Island 1 and 2, Sam & Max: Hit The Road, Broken Sword 1, 2 and 3, as well as many others. Currently we are working at Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island, LOOM, Tales of Monkey Island and Indigo Prophecy, and other 22 games. We provide all translation files for free.
As huge King's Quest fans we are, it would be a delight to translate TSL to Brazilian Portuguese!
We'd like to know if anyone has made some progress translating the game to other languages so far. We'd also like to know if the developers would provide tools that would allow us to extract the game subtitles.

There are some fans talking about translating it to french and are quite excited about it it seems, but I do not think the team itself has said anything concrete about it yet, just that they should discuss it.
