Ever since about 2003-2004 I've been monitoring KQ9 every few months. Lol, one of my famous old posts was about Malicia and Lolotte being friends. In any case, I remember when Vivendi issued the first cease and desist. And finally we got over that, and then the second one, and I was an adamant petitioner who wanted to get this game released.
A few weeks past, and just a few days ago I decided to check up on the site, and lo and behold it finally got released!
I've already played through most of episode 1, which has a lot of cutscenes (which I don't mind, since it's already like an interactive movie to me). And I'm thoroughly impressed. After 8 years we finally see it out. I thought that the transition from KQ6 to this new 3d evironment was well done. I certaintly view this to be the legitimate successor to the King's Quest series.

I think it's just amazing that there are passionate gamers out there who can successfully keep a great series like this alive! I saw a thread where someone was attacking the game, amazing that people can insult a team that are working for nothing making something so cherished!
