I remember reading or watching something that indicated that Michael Fortunato is voicing him; is this accurate?
Yup! Wow, it was really way back when that we cast him, 2004 at the voice over auditions! But we heard Mike read and were all in agreement--he was our Alex!

Wow, I didn't know that! I remember an old, old voice clip of Alexander and Sarah talking about Connor, and I really liked the voice pick for Alexander. Knowing who voices him makes it all the better now! XD

When TSL was hit by the second C&D, I went into the Internet Archive (which archives copies of almost every website) and saved every single piece of TSL media I could find: music, pictures, videos, letters, anything.
At that time, I thought TSL was gone forever...it was a very sad time for me. I wanted to preserve anything I could find so that I could remember the game I loved so much. I'm infinitely happy that the project is going forward now.

Though I haven't listened to these yet, I feel I should mention that not all of these conversations, etc, will necessarily still be in the game--and even if they are, they may be edited from what you've heard before.
We know. :) It's just fun having a piece of TSL--music AND voices!--in our computer, whether they're in the game or not.

I love Graham's voice, too. Not so excited about that Alexander though, I have to say. The voice seems very high-toned and frankly kind of effeminate. :o What an odd choice. Maybe it's just that one scene though. I'll have to wait til I hear him in game.
Mike doesn't sound like Robby Benson, there's no two ways about that. But he's a very good actor and he just nailed the emotion and tone for Alex perfectly, IMO. (Well, in most of the director's opinions, actually!)

I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt til I hear it in context, of course. :) One of the problems with just listening to a voice clip with no visual context is that everything automatically sounds EXTREMELY over-acted, which is part of what makes this Alexander voice sound so starkly inappropriate to the character as he was introduced and represented in KQ6.
Perhaps the corresponding video will help the audio not feel overacted. I think it will.

I doubt it. It sounds to me like you would be playing Alexander at that point.
There was another clip where we heard Alexander's voice that I know of, in one of the teaser trailers from a while back, but it was only a short line or two.
It used to be chapter 4, and yes, it's been cut.
So sad...
I love Mike's voice as Alexander. It was a shock at first because I have spoken with him on Skype even before seeing Chapter 2 and now when ever I hear him on Skype the first name that comes to me is Alexander.
I love him as Alexander too. I've listened to the Alexander and Sarah clip so many times it's become more of Alexander's voice to me than KQ6 is.
Can't say I agree there. KQVI Alexander is the real Alexander to me.
Robbie Benson is the voice I think of for "generic heroic prince figure" as he voiced two of my favorites -- and any (and I do mean any) that are not voiced to sound similar, I always feel like there's something off about them. I'll get past it with Alexander -- I always do -- but that doesn't mean I like it. :P
