Grats!
Just noticed that last month 8662 posts were made, hadn't had that high post count since december 2005 :)
Why were so there so many posts that month? (I wasn't following TSL back then.)
Something to do with the Vivendi C&D, would be my guess.
Ah, right. That would be it.
Yaaaaay! Congrats, writerlove!
Grats! :D

Wasn't around then either, I was around at April 2004 though, where we had 11579 posts that month, but that was because we had competitions who could make the most posts a day :P crazy people.

Right... All of the endless debates about IP and fair use and the suggestions to just change all of the names and release it as "Monarch's Quest" or some such thing. :P
LOL@ Monarch's Quest, ya I'm not so sure that would have worked anyway.

Yeah - people kept pointing out that changing the names doesn't make it any less someone else's IP, and then several posts later someone else would suggest the same thing. It was a lot like the response to the second C&D but more so. :-\
LOL, I gave up reading the C&D thread after like thirteen pages. People who don't come here regularly were making idiot statements and making me mad. I checked in only when I saw that waltz had posted, since she was the headliner of Save TSL.

Ewww...That just sounds terrible.
I agree. "Quest of the Monarch" sounds waaaaaaaay cooler. :P
No.
"Monarch Haz Quest".... and you play a lolcat wearing a crown! I lubz it!
XD ;D XD ;D

Ah, but now it sounds like a Discovery Channel shows about the migration of Monarch butterflies!
Touche.
Haids: 1
Doon: 1
;)
Yay! You know, it's rather unfair that you're keeping score when you're also one of the two players...
But I can't argue with you - you're just too stubborn!

Does that score me another point? ;)
If you had a point for every time you were stubborn, the game would be even more unfair! Definitely not!
I can keep score if you want, but you are both down to zero then *nod*nod*
Well, it's 1-1 right now, which is effectively 0-0.
Oh, Haids, I'm a Great Oracle now! YEAH!
Wooooooooo! Grats, Doon! So you can now tell when you're going to score another point. ;)
Sure, Rob, keep score! If you want us to be at 0, that's fine, 'cause like Doon said, we're both at 1 now anyway. Score away!
Bring it on!
Congrats Doon!
Thanks!
I am really hard to impress though, so you have to do something spectacular to score points!

1-0 for Kindofdoon!
Yay! Off to a good start.
:o
Unfair.
:brrr: :brrr: :brrr:
How's that? ;P
can I give - points? even trying to score points in the same way as someone else just did is frowned upon...
I agree. No points awarded. You must find original methods to gain points.
Fine. *Sulks*
I'll make up for it on another thread, I guess.
We shall see.
Rob, bad move.
Remember who you're marrying.
She needs points for that. :P
I'll give her a point if the wedding actually happends *nods*
Well, I have to finish planning it!!!! :P
I split this topic from the posting positions because it has taken a life of its own and didn't want it to end. I want to see how this one ends. Will it be Doon? Or Haids? :P

Hmmm I think that point should technically go to me since I made the Brrr smiley (and it's the first - and only - custom smiley I've ever made).
I didn't know that you made it. I thought B'rrr did. ;D
Nope there's a thread somewhere for people to request Smileys and Rob asked for one so I took a shot at it, and after failing to get the size right like 10 times I finally got it down. Then I still had an issue with the code for it until Tage told me how to fix that. There was this one :brrr: for Rob and another snake that came out of that thread and that's been about it I believe.
I say Wilco gets the point for an awesome picture.
I would give you the point ofcourse Wilco, even more then one, but you are not in the competition, unless you want to ;)
Woah, this is great! Thanks for the thread, waltz!
Who needs points when one has early access to all five episodes?

I'm glad you don't need them, because I feel like you should have points subtracted for being a jerkyface about it. :P
I agree.

On the other hand, he's working on getting the episode(s) out to you, so I think it balances out. ;)
And working really hard too.
True. Still, he sure does like to induce :suffer: needlessly.
Well, yeah - but that's just because it's fun! :suffer:

Haha, I actually laughed out loud when I saw this thread. Thanks, waltz! :D
Let the wild rumpus start!
No problem, I like to see how things are shaping up. It's becoming more of a free for all now that I look at it. Have fun everyone.

Hrmm... two things... 1) I misread that as puppies. XD 2) The image didn't show up for me. :-\
The image isn't showing for me either. How disappointing! :(

Grr, the puppets are being tricky and evil. They must have learned that from the puppet from the Goosebumps books.
Let's try this again:

you are lucky *nods* it is not like the laughing puppets are anything good or so ;)
*Sigh*
I have to humble myself and offer Doon a few points. He's done so much lately--posted links to old TSL files, (Sarah and Alex, Graham and Edgar, etc), made a TSL insert, and now has given me a link to a place I can download a sweet TSL font. Much as I hate losing, he deserves some points. I'll let our Point Comissioner (Rob) dole them out.
Nice going, Doon. Points well deserved.
!!! Yay! !!!
