My name is Themis. I come from Greece and I'm 32 years old.
I downloaded the first episode of the Silver Lining some hours ago, and I've already finished it ;)
Needless to say, I was really taken aback by the game's quality. I have to say, here, that I am somehow emotionally attached to the King's Quest Series. "Kings Quest 3" was the first adventure I've ever played in my life, at the 'tender' age of 9. Gwydion (Alexander) became, somehow, one of my "closest" friends at that age, after spending endless hours wandering at the country of Llewdor...
So, I should have seen it coming, when I started playing TSL. I mean, I've tried and played many adventure games in the recent past - but none made pay such close attention to its plot, its dialogue, its characters.
The only drawback is.... I'm too impatient, I definitely NEED to play part 2 ASAP!
Thank you so much for such a great game. Can't wait for the 2nd episode to come out...!

Welcome Themis! Keep an eye out, because Episode 2 will be coming! As Katie said in a previous thread, we're hoping for 1-3 months between episodes...and Episode 1 came out a month and week ago :D

Welcome to the forums, Themis. It's good to hear that people appreciate the game for everything it is. I'm also positive that we're all in the same boat. When the credits rolled in Episode 1, the first thing that came to my mind was, "When will Episode 2 come out?". I'm hoping that it'll come soon, and we'll be treated to another chapter of this already climactic story.

Thank you all for your replies. Wow, even some of the guys responsible for the game replied to my thread. You are responsible for one - approximately - of the BEST gaming hours of mine in 2010 , thanks once again!
Now I have to visit the website and the fora every day - or even multiple times a day for that matter -, LOL!
The 1st part of TSL has provided me with -yet another- incentive to play KQ 6 and 7 (or even maybe 8) once again. Oh well, so many things to do in such a short time! ;)
