After being shut down twice by Activision and how successful The Silver Lining has been do you think there will be an epic 10th chapter in the saga and a contract or not?
Probably not--with all that time spent, it would probably take another 10 years to put out another installment. :(
There will be a different game called Corridor 9, though, put out by POS. The company is definitely not finished after TSL! :)
As I understand it, the team has quite a bit of KQ material they don't have plans to develop unless some company decides to financially support their project.
Any more KQ beyond TSL is currently not planned by POS. But that in no way rules out a future game by Activision. You never know what the future may hold!
And now we're getting an 'official' release of KQ. Man I hope its good.

I said it the Welcome Wagon, but honestly, TellTale is going to have to take alot of very wise time, care, and consideration in releasing more King's Quest. The fan loyalty is still very intense and alot of us are very protective of the series. That's also why I think a great majority of people were bothered by the MoE game, because it did not have the same feel or spirit as the other 7. Besides, they will also have their work cut out for them after an extraordinarily epic project, such as The Silver Lining, and this was all done on a volunteer basis.
Am I wrong? :-)

So far as I can tell, you're quite right! I'm hoping telltale can deliver, but my hope wavers at times, I admit.
What are updates about the The Silver Lining?
We're working on Episode 4, no release date to announce yet :)
We'll be releasing Episode 4
before Episode 5.
I think this answers that :)
Is there any more info on Corridor 9? I found the vague description on the POS website to be very intriguing. Have there been any real conversations about it? I'm curious to know more about the story, protagonist, and locations.
We don't have a lot to say about C9 at the moment, we're keeping that one tightly under wraps for a good while to come.
