Is the black cloak society the same as the one mentioned in AGD's remake of Kings Quest 2? (with Sister Hagatha and "The Father"?) Or is this a different one?

I don't believe so....our game is referencing the Black Cloak Society mentioned in KQ6. I forget if AGDI's game was as well or making their own society that was headed by The Father.

I thought I remembered AGDI's game being the same one. I will have to play the game again, but I thought there were some references that lead me to believe that it was the same society....
anyway yeah.. this is definitely the one in KQ6, if you have ever played that. (and if you haven't, you should!)
Sure the RTS was called the Black Cloaks in that game. It was definitely inspired by KQ6.
The Black Cloak Society in AGDI's KQ2+ is definitely the same one as in KQ6--they've chosen their own route for expanding on the KQ mythos suggested in KQ6. TSL is using the same Black Cloak Society, but taking the idea in their own direction. So yeah, both groups are expanding on the same BCS mentioned in KQ6, but each in their own unique way.

Yes, it's the same society. We are both referencing King's Quest VI, as Lamb said.
