Phoenix is launching a brand new e-card site (http://www.postudios.com/sendcard)! Send holiday greetings to your friends with images the Royal Family and The Silver Lining, including the Royal family portrait, a winter scene at Castle Daventry from the 2011 Calendar, and even the infamous Santa Suffer!
The first 50 people to use the e-card service will get a real holiday postcard sent to them from Phoenix Online, and for every e-card you send from now until January 1st, 2011, you will be entered into a raffle to win one of the following: one of 10 copies of the professionally-produced The Silver Lining soundtrack, Volume 1; one of five The Suffer Lining mousepads; and one of five copies of the 2011 TSL Calendar!
Send your e-card now! (http://www.postudios.com/sendcard)
Sent mine! One of those e-card photos looks familiar; where have I seen it before.....? ;)
By the way, I don't know if this is due to the new flash image (looks great!) or the new e-card page or what, but there are some error messages popping up at the top of this page (http://www.postudios.com/company/index.php).
We are looking into that!!!!
Cool. :)

Lol...nice, but I can't help but be a little disappointed at the clear missed opportunity to transform the cloaked figure with the LONG WHITE BEARD into some kind of evil Santa. ;)
Ooooh, that is a great idea as well. But Graham's shirt does looks very much like a Santa Red.
Cools! :D

Oh man- that really WAS what KQ4 was about, eh? IT's kinda sad when you realize how epic the other games were in plot, while Rosella was finding fruit D:
To be fair, the fruit hunt WAS so she could save her father's life!

XD I know, but when it's boiled down, it's kinda "oh wow- epic journey for fruit" XD
It's like when I try to describe my medieval Fantasy story to someone, and it's like well "It's a story about a boy who finds out that he's from another world and must save it from evil." Sounds like EVERY fantasy story plot line XD IT's the same as KQ4 with a difference. The abbreviated plot line seems dull, but when you flesh it out, it's a great game :) IT's the 'minor' stuff that makes the difference ^^

No, sorry. She's in boston. Probably not far from me, either. Theoretically, I could probably hop on the T to go see her. Is it odd that I live close to my boss? (and yes, Katie is my boss, being the PR manager and all. But hey, she's a pretty awesome boss, not gonna lie.)

I think Michael also sent out the soundtracks, correct? If I remember correctly, his handwriting was really good. Sadly, I don't have good handwriting, which is probably a result of me being lefty and having bad hand-eye coordination to boot.

 Sweeeet! I thought everyone forgot about the Gummi Bears but me!
Nah, not everyone. :) I was never able to watch it, but I love the candy, so I've always wanted to see the show (odd connection, I know, but this is me we're talking about :P). I only know the song because I used to listen to The Disney Afternoon soundtrack to put me to sleep at night (whenever we could borrow it from the library).
My friend has the Disney Afternoon CD! :)
I loved the Gummi Bears. I can still sing the theme song beginning to end. And no, your connection between the candy and the cartoon is not at all weird; the show was actually made because of the candy. :)
I loved the Gummi Bears tv show :)
I have this amazingly awesome book called "Totally Tubular 80's Toys" (http://www.amazon.com/Totally-Tubular-Toys-Mark-Bellomo/dp/1440212821) and it mentions the Gummi Bears. Well, more than "mentions," there's a two-page spread on it. :P Anyway, it gives a brief history on the origins of the show (which, like I said, were stemmed from the candy) and shows pictures of the toys. It's quite nostalgic! (I totally recommend this book to any of my fellow 80's children/80's babies. You will flip through it going, "Awwww, I remember that!" ;))

Seriously? That's awesome!
A little while back I spent several hours scouring the internet trying to find out what that CD was called (we moved away from the town that library was in a long time ago and I couldn't remember), and finally found it, then looked it up online to see if I could buy it. Unfortunately, the only copy in my price range was a $20 cassette. The CD is just too expensive (understandably). The same website that I found the name from had a download for it, so I downloaded it and will buy it when I have the money. It was such a wonderfully nostalgic throwback! Some of the songs I hadn't heard in a very, very long time because someone else who had borrowed the CD from the library scratched it and caused it to skip on a couple of tracks.
Also, wow: if the listing is to be believed, someone is selling the cassette on eBay for $130! O_O

You should all send Crispin a Valentine ;)
I had a Valentine last year but this year but this year I don't. It's all good, though. I like the card designs though.
Send 'em to your friends! One thing I've done often on Valentine's Day, particularly years when I wasn't dating anyone, was get those boxes of kid's Valentine's and hand 'em out to my friends. :)
Interestingly, one of the best Valentine's days I ever had was a last minute free ticket to a Barenaked Ladies concert with one of my best friend's brother. He had won them and didn't have anyone to take the spare, I love BNL, so I said hell yeah I'll go, drove two hours to UMass Amherst to meet up with him and see the show. It was awesome! We had a great time, got food after, and no one ever said a single thing about what day it was. :)
In senior year of high school (AKA last year) I intentionally bought Twilight valentines and handed them out to my friends. I hate twilight, and my friends do too. So I thought it'd be awesome for them to get a valentine from a series they hate so dearly. It was pretty funny actually!
Please, send Crispin a valentine! I'm sure I... I mean Crispin, would appreciate it... XD
Haha, hell, I'm spending this Saturday night with one of my best girl friends drinking some girly martinis and watching Eclipse with the RiffTrax :) She and I do so love the Twilight mockery!

Right now I've got no plans, but I'm trying to change that. If I have no plans, I'll likely just be watching Gundam Wing in my dorm room. As great as that show is, I'd rather do something slightly more productive on Valentines day. I just have to find someone who I can spend the day with...
A good friend or friends is always a good option, I've found.

Tonight I'm headed over to my friend's dorm to watch My Favorite Martian (I bought it last week, and I haven't seen it since I was a kid). But I'm almost tempted to cancel and move it to Monday night. The only problem is that my friend may have a late class on Monday.
I don't have any plans this weekend except work on TSL and send out valentines to everyone. Hope everyone has a fun, safe and loving holiday!
Yeah, I'm doing quite a bit of that, too. My boyfriend being away til Monday kinda worked out in that regard!
I was at the store today going "what the heck do I get Erik for Valentine's Day??" We're trying to stay away from the majority of sweets...I was thinking about getting something cute to stick into his lunch box...*sigh* So hard to get something for the guy!

Cookie-cut a sandwich in the shape of a heart! :smitten:
I usually boycott all things Valentine's Day--I think it's one of the most pointless holidays out there and it's ridiculously commercialized, plus why oh why do you need a particular day on the calendar to remind someone you love them?!--but I actually bit the bullet and bought little candy boxes for my friends at work. The first time in I think seven years I've actually acknowledged the existence of Valentine's Day!
Commercial interests will seize any opportunity to make money - Christmas, Mother's/Father's Day, Halloween, etc. Indeed Valentine's Day is over-commercialized, but it's still a nice reminder to appreciate those we love.

Valentines day I mind the least about. I hate the prices, but love is a good reason to splash out. If you can't afford it during the year- afford one day. The world has a different vibe on Valentines day :) The rest are really over commercialised. SPECIALLY Christmas. That holiday has actually lost meaning cause of it.
You can also now enjoy a new flash banner advertising the ecards at the top of the page :) (and the calendar)
Haha, I noticed it. When it transitions from February to March, it looks like it says "Marchy." I had to watch it again to make sure it didn't say that. :P
