I bought it when it was first released! It's my wake up alarm and it really helped me when I had my breakdown. I swear Austin you are a music genius! Thanks for keeping me sane.

Breakdown? That's new. I hadn't heard about that. I hope you're okay! I love the TSL soundtrack, so there's a very good chance I'll be buying Evening Light!
Adrienne, I'm very happy to hear it helped you when you were going through a difficult time. One of the reasons I like music so much is because of it's ability to comfort and bring some stability through order as opposed to chaos that life can sometimes bring.
The album is $9.99 on iTunes but for only $5 on CDbaby right now, you can listen to more music that I've written/performed. I think it's a great deal :-).

XD Oh, yes, those... Yeah. Don't mess with me, or your eggs may have an "accident" on the way to your car. You think I'm kidding? Ask my math teachers. That "F" they gave me was quickly changed after they last went grocery shopping. I control your groceries. DON'T MESS WITH ME! And, I can always just make a few calls to have your local grocery store discontinue things. It's not hard to do. I'm very good with people too. I can very easily befriend people.

Endless Freedom was actually the first song that inspired me to make Evening Light. it all started out with this great drum beat in a 6/8 time signature that had a drive to it. I had just purchased my first guitar that I owned and wanted to lay a track on top. It's got an eclectic feel to it overall with bell like tones and a little bit of tribal drums.
I felt like I had something I wanted to show on a different level from TSL and hence Evening Light came to be :-).
When developing the tracks I had envisioned a certain theme about it. The idea of experiencing a sunset from different people in different places and what happens in that time. Some stare right at the sky as it changes colors, others are walking in park, at a beach, in traffic in a city, in their homes looking at the city lights or perhaps in the countryside, in the desert in the east, ect. It was about capturing that magical period of time.

Wonderful. I love this song very much. It makes me want to hit the road and just drive places.
