Found him at 3:30 today dead in NYC apartment(from what I hear)...Reportedly it's drug related. Really a shame, he seemed like a good guy, a decent actor, I mean I like several of his movies, and he had a young daughter. Sad.

Very sad. When will people realize that taking too many pills can be deadly? I have sciatic nerve issues, but I refuse to take even one muscle relaxer unless I'm in so much pain I can hardly stand it...

Some popular pill in America to help with sleeping, supposedly most actors take it. Sad to see an Aussie die. Especially considering how well he was doing with his career and seeing he had a young daughter.

Yeah, it's pretty shocking.  I was somewhat planning on seeing the new Batman movie with him as the Joker, and now I'm definitely planning on seeing it.

It's fairly sad that he committed so hard to the role that it probably caused his death. It's fairly well know he hasn't been able to sleep since he spent a month preparing for the role in a hotel by himself which started him on the sleeping pills. I've been looking forward to the movie a long time, I'm sure watching it will be a bit sad now.

The Joker, in the new movie The Dark Knight.

I haven't seen anything with Heath Ledger in it, but I'm really looking forward to The Dark Knight.

I'm really looking forward to that, I just watched the first one and then saw the trailer a few days later.

XD that's funny, I just did that for myself. We had to pick two or three songs that we'd have played at our funeral for my fine arts class, and I chose that as one.

That'd be a cool assignment.

I think I'd pick:

1. The Day You Were Gone
2. Adagio for Strings
3. Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again

That reminds me, someone in the team pointed out that the Edgar in our game was somewhat based on Heath Ledger:

Yeah, that character does resemble Heath Ledger now that you point it out.  Shame about that kid, I really liked him as an actor and he seemed  like a nice guy.

I have only seen him in The Brothers Grimm, and I thought he was terrific. I was really looking forward to seeing him in The Dark Knight. It's a shame that we will never be able to see how talented he could have become. :'(
