Rereading the Sword of Truth series. Want to get as far as I can in the first book before the miniseries that's based on it starts on Nov 1st :D :D

My cousin read that awhile back and keeps trying to get me to read it. Do you recommend it?

My friend read them and said the first few were good but after that not so much.
I like the TV series though. It's called Legand of the Seeker. It's on on Sat's here but you can watch them all from their web site too. They use Hulo I think.

I'm currently reading the first book in the Dresden Files series "Storm Front" It's quite good. The TV series seems quite close too.

Yea, the first ones are definitely better. When it gets to the later ones I kinda have to skim over all the preachy parts. Faith of the Fallen, the sixth one, is my second favorite of the series though after the first one. ;D

I can't decided if The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb is my favorite series, or the Riftwar books by Raymond E. Feist. :P

Finally got a copy of Multiple Blessings that I put on hold a couple months a go; read it on Monday. Not getting very far with the sword of truth book I'm also reading though; only about 1/4 of the way through after 3 or 4 weeks. :P

I finished Storm Front the first book in the Dresden Files series. It was very good so I ordered the next four. I think he has eleven or twelve out now.

I'm reading Watchmen right now.

I'm still on Reaper Man because I ended up getting a new DS game that I play in my spare time at work, instead of reading. But I also have less spare time now that I've gotten a job in a new location.

I've also started a new devotional, called "Engaged" which is a 12 week study, to help you keep God in the center of all the wedding planning.

Interesting.  Whenever I get married I may have to look into that.

Finished Lamb, now I'm reading The Da Vinci Code.  I'm a little behind the times, I know, but I usually like to read "trend" books after the hype is over.

I'm not sure she's retired, but I read somewhere that Anne McCaffrey has mostly handed the Pern series over to Todd, although she still sometimes co-writes the books with him.

When I sat in a panel with her and her son she said that she still writes and has a lot of stories she still wants to tell but her health is really slowing her down. She still reviews her sons work and has a lot of veto power there.  :) It was funny watching her pull out a red pen and mark up his rough draft that they were reading right there in front of everyone.  :suffer:

Haha nice story Shades. I'll have to relate that to my sis.

Still reading Watchmen, but I better finish it soon cause I'm sure someone else has it on hold on the library so I need to return it.

I thought about doing that... but my sister has our copy down in North Carolina, so I'm just gonna go see not remembering a thing from the book. :P

Currently rereading the Tears of Artamon series by Sarah Ash.

Delling

I'm currently reading The Book of Fairy & Folk Tales of Ireland specifically "The Legend of Tyrone" because I am ever so slowly translating it into Gaelic. :P
