I'm not reading anything new but I'm re-reading half blood prince before the movie.
I thought about doing that... but my sister has our copy down in North Carolina, so I'm just gonna go see not remembering a thing from the book. :P
I think after the movie comes out, I'll reread the entire series!  ;D

And I'm reading Volume 1 of Promethea, another series by Alan Moore.

LOL Imaging Haids as a fifty's style Teenybopper!  :D (Or was that sixties?)

Haha, I don't know.  ;D I DO know that when I originally read LJ Smith's books, I was wearing glitter nail polish, my favorite group was the Backstreet Boys, and it was not abovie me to wear a pink tank top that said "Princess Brat."   ::)

Horrors!

Horse Soldiers, by Doug Stanton. First non-light reading I've done in a while. But it's an awesome book!

I just finished 1984 a bit ago. It didn't hook me at first (I had stolen it from my boyfriend and was reading it out loud to entertain myself and his sisters), but I got really into it pretty soon after. It's a good/terrifying book. XD

Read Marley and Me by John Grogan while at the beach. The book is hilarious but very sad at the end. Poor Marley. He had such a zest for life. And the fact that Grogan is a journalist drew me in too.

I saw the promos for that movie, and I refused to watch it. I knew he died, and I did not want to fall in love with that stupid dog and then sob for the next hour. XD

I felt the same way.  I was like, "No way.  There is no possible way that a movie or book like that can end happily, so forget it."  :'(

The movie was actually quite good.  I would recommend seeing it. :P  Even though it's fairly obvious the dog would die from the title alone, the ending revisits how much of a huge impact the dog had in all the important moments of their lives.

Till We Have Faces ...because it's awesome and I'm reading it for inspiration for something I'm writing... as well as a couple other books that my cousin lent or gave me on a book by book basis :P
