I know The Silver Lining is split into 5 different episodes but would you guys be able to do a Poster Art or Box Art for each episode and put it up?

I love printing Game Posters for each episode or game I have and this is the only one i don't have...

I'm sure others would love a Game Poster for The Silver Lining as well.

Thanks

I love the idea as well, but I don't know if PO has the resources and time to make box art.

Hopefully, they do.

I like this idea too.

They should recruit some of our more talented forumers to do box art. *Cough*DOON*Cough*

I'm not kidding.  I'd kill for a KQ / TSL themed poster.  I'd totally go to Office Max or something and get it professionally printed in large format and everything.

Yeah- specially with how pretty the official art is :) IT'd be great to have merchandise for this game. Not sure if Sierra would allow that though >.>

Sierra's IP (including KQ) is now owned by Activision.

Would that be allowed? Like, if I printed out a TSL screenshot and took it to Office Max, would they let me enlarge it and turn it into a poster?

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that, provided that the image is of a high resolution (otherwise it would look pixelated or fuzzy when blown up).

We are highly unlikely to :) Can't speak for Activision, however.

Hmmm.  Well, if y'all don't care, I suppose there's no need to admit to Activision if I do it... ;)

Well that makes me feel a little better about the fact that that's pretty much what I did freshman year of college through a printing website... (got thrown away end of senior year though as it was rather ragged by then) ;P

I don't see any issue at all with printing out a poster, so long as you aren't trying to sell them.

It's one of those areas where, technically, making any copies of any copyrighted material is illegal. But, there's absolutely no sense in going after, for example, a student copying an article for studying or writing a report. So no one's going to sue you for that. *

So yes, so long as you aren't distributing or selling said things, you really should be just fine.

* - However, after a few years of students getting to buy cheap copies of numerous articles bound together for classes, the publishing industry got wise to it and now royalties must be paid for those things. Which is why, if you are or have been a college student in the last 15-20 years, you'll have noticed that photocopied books made at Kinko's and the like of selected readings and article reprints are ridiculously expensive, and can't be resold at the end of the semester.

Hmmm.  Well, maybe I'm writing a report about TSL for my, uh...fantasy...class...yeah, that sounds good.  I need a supersized TSL graphic for my report.
