The BAD: I hate this contraceptive. XP It puts me in pain and makes me have erratic mood swings and start crying for no reason on an almost daily basis. :P
The BAD: I miss my boyfriend. :'(
The GOOD: I love him so much and I know being together in person in 30 days will make having been apart for three months more than worth it. <3
The BAD: My laptop died last night. I lost everything I've done in the past six months. :'(

Nice...I remember when that was the essential party game, long before silly Wii games and hardcore shooters.

Now that we have evolved to online multiplayer, nobody plays "party games" anymore (aside from games like Rock Band). Everybody sits on their couch and is connected via their headset. I miss the ole' days.  :(

Party gaming isn't completely dead; it's probably the main reason the Wii has managed to outsell the PS3 and 360 despite technological inferiority.

I hope they can sort something out soon. :( A pain-inducing contraceptive is not a good idea! :'(

It will ;D We'll have to cram all of the things we *should* have done in the past three months into that one week :D It will be marvellous. <3

What more need be said? :'(

THE GOOD: I just wrote an awesome essay on Hroðgar's "Thank you" speech in Beowulf (lines 928-956). Basically, I argue that, while he's ostensibly thanking Beowulf and being very flattering and grateful, there are also a number of ways in which he covers his back and says "Hey, just because this hero could kill that monster doesn't mean I could have done it! It was God's will! I can't control a thing like that! I'm still a good king, right?"

THE BAD: I now have to start work on *another* essay, which must, by definition, be awesome, because it will count towards my final grade for this year :-\

THE GOOD: But later today I'm reading one of my poems out to an audience :D which will be fantastic.
THE GOOD: And then even later today I'm in a sketch show which will be hilarious! :D
THE BAD: I still miss Deloria. :( And wish she didn't have mood swings and become spontaneously miserable and wasn't in constant pain. :'(

 That seems counterproductive for something that is supposed to prevent the pain from cysts. :(

Gosh darn tug o' war! Grrrrr!

THE GOOD: I made it safely to Portland and I'm chilling with my aunt, sister, and favorite cousin. :)

THE GOOD: We watched Twilight Zone last night on DVD for like five hours.

THE BAD: My cousin has to leave tonight and Ash and I have to leave tomorrow morning :(

Well, it is. :P But whenever I try transplanting it into another computer, it tells me (rather rudely) that since the hardware now is no longer original, it must be a counterfeit copy of Windows and is going to keep me from accessing anything other than the hard drive. It won't recognise the USB port, it won't connect to the network and it won't even recognise the CD drive. :P I can view my things; I just can't do anything with them. XP

When you transplant it, do you boot to it? Put in a new computer but boot to that computer's hard drive; then in theory, you should at least be able to copy them from one hard drive to the other (and then from the other be able to do whatever you want with it :D). Alternatively, if you were to delete the Windows install files, I would think any computer to which you presented the hard drive to consider it an external hard drive.

The thought occurs (if the above is still locked out by Windows insanity) that what you really need is a Linux box because it won't care about such nonsense. :P

In any case, keep the hard drive safe. Then you won't have lost everything: if nothing else, you can always point and say, "No, I know right where it is." :P
