Mysterious bruises, eh? My late great aunt's blood pressure medication caused her to get these ghastly bruises on her arms, but then I doubt either of you are on blood pressure meds. :P
Ack, ty for reminding me, I am sadly but I'm terrible about remembering to take them >.<

The GOOD: Food.
The BAD: Not the best food ever.

THE GOOD: It's Fake Monday, otherwise known as Tuesday

THE BAD: I have a really long and boring staff meeting tonight about things that won't pertain to me

THE GOOD: $25 for showing up to it--not a bad deal, really

THE GOOD: It was so nice outside today! :D
THE BAD: I had to say goodbye to a friend who is leaving for a few months. :(
THE UGLY: Insanity. Ugh.
THE BITTERSWEET: A good, Christian man from another forum lost his battle with cancer on the 17th. I found out today. :'(
So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him and saaaaaaaaaay, "Hey! Bad guy! You're not s'posed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword 'til you go, 'Ouch! I'm dead!' Ah-ha-ha!" Ha-ha. *hic* See? Ain't no one gonna be messin' wit' ol', Benny!

The BAD: knowing more about what's wrong with the code but its still not making any sense

The GOOD: it IS Friday
The GOOD: it's free Vlad week on League of Legends :D *has been wanting to play Vlad for the past few weeks now*

The GOOD: apparently, episode 3 is almost here :D

The BAD: very tired
The BAD: didn't get into the office until 11:30 or so
The SAD: staying until 5 or 6 to make up for same
The GOOD: at least with my current understanding of the issues with the code I CAN get SOMETHING done

The BORING: my code is compiling... plus no one to talk to :-\
The MAKES UP FOR IT: teh forumzes

The ANNOYING: I got my desktop from the states, but I can't use it because I can't plug it in
The WORSE: I knew this would happen so I went online to find a surge protector-shaped solution :P
The WORST: I found one like 2 weeks ago for 8€ but didn't order it because my computer wasn't here yet... now I can't find that deal any more

[[It's such a wonderful little solution: a surge protector with 5 or 6 universal outlets that is rated for and will plug into a UK/Ireland outlet.]]

The BAD: It's COLD outside! (-12°F)
The GOOD: I found something that could solve a long-standng problem in our software! CSS has a "page-break-inside: avoid" property, which could prevent table rows from splitting across pages when printing. :)

The BAD: It's Monday and I'm already exhausted
The BAD: Erik is working an 11 1/2 hour day...and I was gone from home over 11 hours...
The AMAZING: Erik is the sweetest of sweethearts and is driving out of his way to bring home my favorite Salsarita's home for supper (and he volunteered because he wanted to treat me!)

That's so nice of him - especially after an 11.5 hour day!

Trust me, I know! We were going to meet up for supper at his favorite fast food, Chipotle, but when I got on the road and called him, he said for me to go home and that he wanted to pick up Salsarita's.

He got home at 7...we ate...and now I'm going to crawl into bed and read for a few minutes before I fall asleep!

Chipolte Mexican Grill? With the humongous burritos? Man, those things are good!

Went to a Chipolte once, bit too spicy for me but the similar Qdoba is my favorite fast food place, yum! :D

THE AGGRAVATING: Spybot Search and Destory is saying that I have 10 PUPS and 5 Trojans on my computer, but IT'S NOT LETTING ME FIX THEM!  It says I have to be an administrator to do that, but I am the administrator! Grrrrrr!

Are you running Windows 7? If so, you should know that it has a horrific permissions infrastructure. This is why linux has sudo, su, and root: b/c those are like saying: "Permission? PERMISSIONS!? We don't need no stinking permissions!"

The GOOD: changing the plummer radius seems to have fixed the code :D
The BAD: I don't recall having to change that before  :-\
The MEH: feh, it works ::)

The BAD: collaboration with France is going to take longer
The BAD: it is a less shiny project ultimately than the center of the galaxy one...
The BAD: ...which I haven't worked on since getting back because MOLLIE hasn't been cooperating...
The GOOD: with this plummer radius thing, that may well be fixed now! :D
The ???: but why did the non-ionic, non-nitrous species work? :-X

The HOVERING: my adviser has obviously been caught in the middle of coming to talk to me... he is standing out in the hall talking to another prof. ...
