- Listening to a playlist that has both the original music from La Mulana and the recent remake. The remake isn't too bad actually, some are better than others.

- Re-reading all the articles from The Four Winds.

-Having a really bad drug-hangover. :(
-Coming to the realisation that Delling and Darthkiwi are horrible supervisors and reconsidering trying hallucinogens around them. XD
-Being fairly annoyed with my dream and its obvious characters that were based entirely on myself. :S

- Is just now noticing that the melody of "Greensleeves" and "What Child Is This?" are the same. Mind=Blown! That is awesome!  :D :D

The first time I remember hearing "What Child is This?" I thought it WAS Greensleeves! :) I sort of discovered that one by accident.

I'm the opposite. When I hear Greensleeves I immediately think of What Child Is This? I know that melody as the latter mostly.

^ As do I, writerlove.

- Listening to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgbawKIUgRs and is picturing a young Graham going on an adventure.

- Just finished watched the newest Atop The Fourth Wall. That ending was creepy! :(

- Don't you just hate it when you suddenly have a great idea for a scene in a certain area, but your characters are already OUT of that are so you can't do it?

The scene idea I had was: Graham and Cedric are taking a rest by one of the oasises, and it's getting late. Graham is about to go to sleep, and Cedric casts the "Night Owl" spell on himself (I still need a rhyme for that!) to keep watch over Graham.

The sun sets, it grows cool in the desert, the moon rises and all is silent for a few moments. Cedric, his eyes ever watchful, is startled by a mournful wail in the darkness. The ghost of "The Wanderer" appears near Cedric, who is scared out of his wits.

Like Colin Farwalker, his spirit had turned into a wraith and was forced to wander the Endless Desert as he did in his final days of life for eternity. What exactly Cedric did for him, I honestly don't know.

KatieHal

Sounds like a cool scene! You can always go back and add it :)

But... now it won't make any sense in my chapter! The parts in the desert happen around noon, and all they do is walk in the desert (assumedly for a few hours), Cedric gets fed up and asks Graham why they're here, they get chased by the sand monster back towards the cliffs, they climb the cliffs and see the temple, get back down and follow the bandits back to their camp, they fight in the camp, run back to the temple, fight and get chased by the bandits again and run back to the clearing where the Gypsies are.

There really is no time for them to rest at an oasis. Unless you're suggesting that their desert adventure took more than one day...

Well, walking around the desert at noon is generally considered a bad idea, from what I understand. So it could make sense for them to wait until later in the day to go wander around in there. Also that's a whole lot of steps they're going through there, which could easily take several hours and lead into the night.

^ actually let me re-phrase that: by the time they'd gotten to the Brigand Camp, it was noon.

- Is slightly annoyed (not sad like last time, just annoyed) at her test score: 62. So close... argh!

- Is wondering if there is any difference between Brigands and Bandits. In my Endless Desert chapter, I switched between both words to describe the desert men.

- How DO you pronounce "vase" anyway?

- Is very proud of herself, as she FINALLY beat King's Quest III redux with a maximum score! That's a first for me, as I missed 3 in I (forgot pebbles, forgot slingshot), and 4 in II (???).

- Hmmm... should I keep playing KQ2+ today, or should I re-download Space Quest: Incinerations onto my desktop? I've already spoiled myself on all three endings for Incinerations, but, I'm looking at them out of context.

crayauchtin

I think brigands implies more organization and more "brutally beating and murdering" as opposed to general robbery -- maybe that's just me. I don't think I've ever read that anywhere, I just inferred it from the contexts I've seen them used in.

-singing along to Mandy Moore because I'm home alone and therefore only the neighbors can complain -- and I have to listen to their little girls play outside so that seems fair to me.
-trying to figure out which of the frivolous projects I've decided to pick up I want to drop or hold of until later on because I've found I don't have enough time in the day to do ALL of these things.
