Can't get to TSL downloads - It keeps asking me to log in

Same problem now downloading from link above.  For the PS3 the monkey Island games and Back to the future games are great.  Sam and Max are Okay but not near as good as their original PC game.  Now the first chapter of The walking Dead came out and that is also great.  All these games are by a company called telltale games and they do a good job keeping the adventure genre going.  They can also be laugh out loud funny.

that link should be on the main page for everyone...problem still isn't fixed but at least there is a way to download...thanks

This is definitely still an issue! Just registered and did the loop de loop a few times (click on the download link, it asks me to log-in even though I am already logged in, then it takes me to a Word Press log-in) before I thought to look in the forums to see if this was a known issue. Frustrating, but so glad that there was a direct link here - thanks!

Edit: Sadly, the download link itself isn't working properly. Gets to about 0.2 or so downloaded (and it takes a long time), and then there's a network error. I'll try again tomorrow!

Still getting an aborted download due to network error. Any thoughts?

I checked all of our mirrors and they're all functioning fine, maybe try using a browser with a download manager like the newest Internet Explorer, Firefox, or an actual download manager like GetRight.

Yep, right after I left the latest message I abandoned Chrome and fired up IE. Just finished my download a few seconds ago.  :D Thanks for checking.

Glad I checked this forum, I just registered to download and play TSL was having the same problem and about to give up. It's annoying not being able to log in but at least we can get to the forums. The download hung on me too after an hour but I restarted so fingers crossed.

I had the same problem too, though I was able to login - however, the website sent me back to the homepage after logging in and when I retried downloading, it acted as if I wasn't logged in. Thanks for the direct link.
I'm downloading TSL not to any hard drive, but to a large pendrive - I just would like to keep huge games out of my disk. Will it affect appearance or non-appearance of some bugs?

The game is downloaded and it doesn't let me install it on a pendrive. >:(
And is it just episode 4? I couldn't download any of them...

It depends on the reading speed of your pen drive. I get mine from Micro Center with the best speeds there are. I think in general though, flash drives are decent at read speed, it's just write speeds you have to watch out for, which is not really an issue when playing a game.

The episode 4 installer actually contains episodes 1 - 4. :)

Yes, now I've noticed it, but I often tend to ask some distress questions before learning there is actually no problem or one that can be solved quickly...
Anyway, I'm quite angry I couldn't install the game to my pendrive. Before downloading, I asked the developers if I could install the game to some bigger writeable disk and they suggested a pendrive instead. I was told it would have to be a large pendrive, above 4 GB - just yesterday my mum gave me one and I could start download only to learn that it won't work... :(
Anyway, I usually install larger games on CDRs. In case of the VGA remake of KQ2 a normal 700 MB disk should have been enough according to what was said in the "system requirements" - but it wasn't, before crossing the bridge I learned that I can't save any further games and, what's yet worse, even deleting some old saves I didn't need had no effect. And I wanted to test all the wrong solutions, so I had to go through the bridge scene six times... no, actually seven, because later I made a mistake on the island.

Hmmm... I've never tried installing the game to a flash drive, but I would have expected it to work as long as there is enough free space. ??? Of course, things don't always work as you think they will. :-\

Yeah, honestly a normal external drive would be more reliable than a pen drive. Windows doesn't make as many "special distinctions" between a normal external drive and an internal drive. Still seems odd though. I presume you're not saving the installer itself to the pen drive? What kind of error message do you get? Or does the installer not let you pick the destination? It's been a long time since I've messed with the Torque installer so I can't remember.
