- Thinking about trying out the Chzo Mythos games. Hmmm... do I go publication order or timeline order? How many days are in Trilby's Notes? I want to know because I want to do something cool: I want to play each day in the game and spread out the game over however many days the game takes place. For example, 5 Days a Stranger I would play out over the course of exactly five days.

I definitely think you should play in publication order. That's the way the story was meant to be unveiled.

How many days are in Trilby's Notes?

Originals or Special Editions?

According to the Wiki, Trilby's Notes takes place over... 4 days? 3?

I just realized I've had this computer a year and a half and not all the King's Quests games were on it! Bad fan! :!Oops:  That's been remedied except for GOG's 1-3 pack, but I haven't bought that yet.

So...
-Trying to decided which KQ game to start from scratch. I have 4-8 regular games, KQ2+, 3 IA and AGDI.

Yes, I'm aware I'm a KQ geek. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't.

I don't know how to feel when it comes this death message from KQ2+

"You tup with the spirits, and find only the graves." I looked up what 'tup' means, and I feel kinda sick.
Huh. When do you get that?

Oh, wow... so I just came back to this and reread it and FINALLY picked up on how you encoded everything: death threats? ~> "charming discourse", "begging others to steal stuff for you"?~>"the inevitable acquisition of antique books"XD

That sounds like a great idea! There'll be some slow/short days, I think, but it should be interesting.

I'm afraid I can't remember how many days there are in Trilby's Notes. It's definitely my favourite game in the Quadrilogy, though.

"When you tup spirits, you find only the graves..."?

-I hate my desktop PC sometimes. I just attempted to download 5 Days a Stranger (and Trilby: The art of Theft), and I got the exact same message I did when I tried to download TSL onto it: "Windows can not allow this file to be downloaded." Even though I took Snabbott's advice and fixed my settings!

So, then I think "Screw it! I'm going to go play KQ2+ and see if I can get that max score I've been craving!" I click the icon, click Play Game... and another text box appears saying (paraphrased), "Windows can not find this file. Please check that it is spelled correctly and try again."

So I sigh and go to the AGDI website, thinking that I'd accidentally deleted the file somehow, and when I attempt to download it... I get the same message that I got for 5 Days and TSL even though THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENNING AS I'VE DOWNLOADED ONTO MY DESKTOP BEFORE AND IT NEVER REJECTED IT!

And to top this all off, after attempting to start up 5 Days anyway, my computer gave me a BSOD which erased my original message on here that I was going to post a few minutes ago! I'm now typing this on my phone and I'm very annoyed right now!

it hurts
Stop downloading installers to your desktop!!!! Windows HATES that. Save files to a non-Windows-related directory instead.
