Could someone get me a Video of your Character Class, that solves a puzzle through his Class.

Maybe someone can snip a Youtube Walkthrough together that shows the Hero solving the Same Puzzle in his Class way

stika

you know, I was youtubing for that, and it is remarkably harder than it seems, with that said I found a review of the game that shows an example of a puzzle being solved with each different class.

If you're interested there's an indie game that closely resembles that series called Quest for Infamy, maybe you should check it out :)

Mmm... not sure if the video I sent you helps, then.

Regardless, nice job there, that certainly took a lot of work

Thats because i used a Program called Movie Maker to Clip Short the Video so i can just show the Highlights of what RPG used to be and yea it was Allot of work putting all that up, i just hope Bethesda takes Notice of that Thread.

stika

yeah I've used Movie Maker, but not a fan imo

Older versions of WMM let you do more than you can now, but it was buggy as hell. Very user-friendly and easy to figure out, though.

Movie Maker isn't too awful, but the "only one audio track" thing just kills me. XD 80% of the time I have to go to another video editing software, it's because of that.

stika

So can the community anywhere.  That's no reason not to start a youtube account.

And you can do what many people do--create the google email address so you can start your youtube account, and then NEVER TOUCH IT AGAIN.  There's no rule that says having a Google email address requires you to use it, nor does it have to change your life or internet experience in any way.

But you're right--asking a forum full of strangers to do your work for you is a MUCH more reasonable option.   ::)

Yeah I'd also recommend making a gmail address specifically just for that purpose, you don't ever have to do anything useful for it, and quite a few people do go that route.

Oddly enough... No it really isn't. Certainly that is what they tried to project but they have deviated from the formula quite a bit.

There is another game that is a lot closer to Quest for Glory then Infamy

Mage's Initiation

Which honestly if they called this "Quest for Glory: Make Room for new Heroes" I could almost buy it (it isn't heavily coated in the Quest for Glory humor though)

Quest for Infamy is definitely inspired by our love of Hero's Quest/Quest For Glory - but we wanted to see what it would be like to play a more morally ambiguous character than a straight hero - so our protagonist is more like, say, Han Solo - a guy that's been afoul of the law before, and is on the lookout for himself.  How you play the game and make choices determines more of what kind of man he is.  There are different ways to handle many situations, and different interactions with characters depending on how you want him to act.

It's definitely not a carbon copy of Quest For Glory - it's its own thing, but I think if you enjoyed Quest For Glory, you might like Quest For Infamy.  It's just a flip side of the coin.

Well the Thief is the "Han Solo" if you wanted one in the game.

What I mean is that, it doesn't exactly capture the essence of the quest for glory series. It is inspired certainly but it doesn't take a page from its books.

Which isn't to say that is a problem but if you are playing Quest of Infamy with hope that you are rekindling your memories of Quest for Glory, that isn't going to happen anymore then playing fallen Enchantress is going to rekindle your memories of Master of Magic.
