It took a lifetime, but I was finally able to put together an outfit for DAZ Studio that matches Erica's suit.  Of course, I only just recently started working with the Genesis 8 model.  Up until then, I was mostly working with the Michael 4 and Victoria 4 models.  But I digress.

Here's a render I made, of Erica performing an investigation in a suspicious-looking alley.  And I apologize for her hair looking brown.  It was very red when I was building the scene, I swear.

More to come, when new ideas and materials come to me.

Here's another one I recently made.

This one was inspired by the old trailer for Rainbow Six: Siege; which depicted a similarly-dressed woman being held hostage by terrorists.

In this case, the terrorists chose the wrong F.B.I. agent to hold hostage and the wrong guy to keep watch over her.  I'll let you decide how and when she got the drop on him, and if/how she used her powers to do so.  As for how/when she lost her shoes... well, I'm guessing she wouldn't want to talk about it.

Those are so awesome, I love it! Thank you so much for sharing them! LOL the lost shoes is cracking me up. Erica would be so pissed.

Yeah, I don't doubt that.  Especially if she had to go through the things that John did (McClane, that is).

Which reminds me... a friend and I had a conversation a while ago, in which we briefly talked about the idea of Erica being in a Die Hard type situation.  My friend said broken glass on the floor would be impossible to implement in a Cognition type game (I don't remember exactly what his reason was), but... I don't know.  What do you think?  I can imagine two possible achievements for that kind of scene:

1.  "Fancy Footwork" for making it through without stepping on any glass.

2.  "I feel your pain, McClane" for making it through, after stepping on glass 3 times.  (any more than 3 times, and I imagine the pain and blood loss causing her to fall, leading to the retry/quit screen)

Anyway... I'm thinking of doing more renders, with Sully in them, but I haven't yet found a good suit for male figures that would work.  I'll check Renderosity and Daz3D soon though, and see what I can find.

Jack Stryker

Heeeeeere's Sully!

(Apologies for the pixelated bits.  I guess it was a bad background or something.)

Here, Sully is responding to an anonymous tip about some suspicious activity in an abandoned area.  At first, it appears to be a waste of time, until he suddenly notices a familiar-looking pair of women's shoes on the ground; which appear to have been thrown down the stairs.  Or perhaps lost in a struggle, that happens sometimes.  Then he suddenly overhears the sounds of a commotion going on at the upper floor of the building and decides he may need his gun after all.

As you may have gathered, I have in mind this taking place before the game.  I have one other Erica render planned, but haven't yet acquired the materials I need for it.  Also, I may make a followup to this one as well, along with other pics of the two of them together.  Depends on what kind of ideas I can come up with, and whether or not I can find the right materials for them.

Here's another render of Erica, which I'd been visualizing for some time.  This one takes place just after the graveyard incident at the beginning of the game, with Erica struggling to cope with the physical and emotional scars of her failure, during a leave of absence.

A followup to the previous ones I've shown is planned and being worked on.  And once again, I apologize for the renders not showing Erica's hair red, even though I can swear it's very red while I'm building the scene.

Here's the followup to the previous one with Sully.  I had a more appropriate pose in mind for him in this one, but he wasn't easy to pose.  But then again, neither was Erica, otherwise I probably would've shown her putting her shoes back on.  And once again, I apologize for the pixelated bits.  I'm not sure what's causing this.

While escaping from the clutches of the terrorist group, Erica slips and falls - her gun sliding out of her reach.  She looks up to see an armed terrorist point his weapon at her, but is then startled by the sound of a shot ringing out behind her and the sight of said terrorist falling backwards.  She spins onto her back, to find...

Erica: "Sully!"

Sully: "Hey, Erica!  Boy, did I pick the right anonymous tip to investigate!

*He puts his gun away and helps her up.*

You alright?"

Erica: "My feet have met friendlier floors, but yeah.  So, a 'little birdy' told you I was here, huh?"

Sully: "Well, they didn't mention that little detail, but yeah.  I had no idea you were here, until I found what I assumed were your shoes outside.

*He glances down at her bare feet.*

"Which, err... reminds me..."

*He pulls out her shoes and hands them to her.  She smirks and gratefully takes them back.*

Erica: *putting them back on* "You assumed correct.  Thanks.  No... thanks aren't enough.  I owe you my life, Jared."

Sully: "Heh... well... I'd settle for a coffee date.  This Friday at noon?"

Erica: "That... could be arranged.  First though... could we get out of here?"

Sully: "Ah, right, right.

*He pulls out his phone, as they exit.*

"This is Agent Sullivan.  I've found Agent Reed.  ...Yeah, she's okay."

KatieHal

Hehe, nice. from when Erica and Sully go full Jack Bauer and join CTU. ;)

I really like the dynamic poses!

Just so you know, I have another one that I'm working on.  But unfortunately, DAZ Studio seems to like taking its sweet time rendering now.  And for some dumb reason, whenever I change the light settings, the render just shows a black square.  (It keeps me waiting over an hour for THAT!  Honestly, I'm beginning to think I should've stuck with Poser.)

So yeah, a new one is coming... eventually, but it's going to look darker than it should be.  (As in, it'll look like nighttime, when it's supposed to be daytime.)  Also, I'm thinking of doing an updated version of the karate one I made, with the newer models and maybe better poses.

Jack Stryker

It would seem that the render I was working on, of Erica and Sully, is going to have to be delayed once again.  Apparently, the background that I tried to use was causing errors with the program and sometimes even freezing my computer.  (Just as well I found it on a free site, rather than paying for it.)  I'm going to buy a different background to use for it later; which will hopefully work better.

At any rate, I did recently acquire a certain outfit for the Genesis 8 female model; which I thought looked fabulous.  So naturally, I just had to see what Erica would look like with it on.  Then I remembered some other props that I'd also recently acquired and before I knew it, I'd made this:

So there's Erica on her day off, having just had her nails done and had lunch, now looking at... oh... let's say a picture that Terrence sent her, of his new puppy.

KatieHal

Very cool picture! Nice work, Jack. :)

Granted this does sound like a Bizarro-Erics, but that doesn't change that it's a fun image! ;)

Yeah... now that I think about it, I'm not sure that outfit is really her style.  I mean, I can picture the sandals on her, but I don't know about the dress.  It might actually be a better look for Zara, the sorceress from my novel.  At least, during her time spent in New York anyway.  (PM me if interested in said novel.)

Anyway, I still can't get the Erica and Sully render I was working on to render properly, so I finally just made a Print Screen image in Paint and put it in my DeviantArt stash.

This one is a reference to Erica's comment, when looking at the vending machine in episode 1, and also the "on your left" gag from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It's kinda hard to see, but Sully's smirking at her and if it were animated, he'd be shaking his head.

KatieHal

Neat! Now this is very Erica :) I can see and Sully doing laps together, too.

Well, don't ask me how I did it, but I finally managed to get that jogging render done, with a few changes.  Such as using a Genesis 8 male character for Sully, rather than the usual G3 one.  This, unfortunately meant that I had to omit his eyepatch, as they were only designed for the Genesis 3 models.  I've yet to find one for G8.

I also updated the bedroom one, to show a better quality room, which even came with a more convenient place to store Erica's shoes.  (Getting them on that carpet was problematic, to say the least.)

The last one I have planned is inspired by another certain fan art that was posted elsewhere, and will depict Erica working with another video game heroine.

Well, it's finished.

Erica:  "And another two down!  This isn't half as tough as everyone made it seem."

Jill:  "Oh, just wait.  It gets better.  In fact... I'd grab that shotgun over there, if I were you."

This one I made in reference to this other bit of fan art:

She might be good at killing zombies, but it never hurts to have a little help from an expert in the field.  Am I right?
