I only rely on experience. I happen to like oranges but there's other things other people say are good to eat, but I don't, because I've tasted them and didn't like it.
If you want to interprete  'accustomed' that way (indoctrinated, (looks right, but I don't know if it's a word that exists)), be my guest. :suffer:

I prefer them with seeds. Hybrid fr00t scares me for some reason. ::)

I come onto this thread expecting to see a lengthy conversation about the advantages and disadvantages of the use of the Suffer smiley and instead I see a conversation about seedless fruits!

...well...I'll join in anyway!

I personally am not a fan of either oranges or grapes myself (indeed, the only fruit I am partial to is the good ol' red apple, it is one of the few fruits I know where you can actually bite into it and not have this weird, overly soft texture inside your mouth...mind you...I was never a fan of mushy things anyway, even as a baby! If I don't have to tear it apart using the full strength of my jaw muscles then it is not for me!
