Opps, just realized this thread was here. Why did Racx bring up this thread. Could the forum mods search on everyones profiles and get the data that way. Atleast you would have everyone's data in here, not just about 40 or so. (Sorry if this has already been answered, i didnt get a chance to read through the 15 pages the thread has already produced.)

B'rrr

not everyone is aware of there gender  ::) :P ...so there are blanks ;-D

...besides now we know how many 'active' members we have (and there gender), but yeah it would be pwetty simpel to determain the gender of all the posters with a simpl query  ::) :P

Gordon Bennet, the furious passion some of you people are throwing into this thread is unbelievable!

I would post some of my (extremely comprehensive) theories on the differences between male/female thinking in the context of my character analysis templates but that would take up to much room here! (believe it or not but they prove to be surprisingly accurate!)

In my operational experience, Ladies have always proven to provide vastly superior emotional counselling than blokes and I personally prefer to talk to Ladies in general (and no, it's not for the purposes of chatting them up! I'm an ugly git so they would simply laugh me off! The actual reason is that they tend to be able to converse much better on complex topics with me than other blokes I know.)

BTW, "Ladies" are in italics for the simple reason that in my definition, a lady is a female who is not viscious, spiteful, out to kill you for the slightest "mistake", not slavishly devoted to her image but is the total opposite and is proud to be who she is.  :)

Phew, I best not type anymore before a draw anymore flak!
When cities burn and armies turn,
and flee in disarray,
Cowards will cry 'tis best to fly
and fight another day.
But warriors know it in their marrow when they die and fall,
It is better to have fought and lost than not have fought at all.

Jeysie

I think that it does a world of good for a person of a given gender to get in touch with the side of them that is the gender they're not. ;)

As for "lady"... for me personally, that term always denoted a sense of high class... a woman who is well-mannered, polite, well-spoken, genteel, graceful, elegant, well-educated, etc. Not pretentiously so or as a poseur, however.

Peace & Luv, Liz

Thanks Jeysie!  :)

As for the lady thing...well...everything you said also applies to my definition as well!  ;D
