QfG is a very good saga.

I've played and finished 1 throuygh 4. However, I never managed to finish 5. Don't know why... maybe some day.

However, even when it's RPG influenced, QfG works as many Sierra's adventure games. You have puzzles and stuff, and then you have fights, which you can totally avoid and still finish the games.

Now that I think of it, I've palyed the origian QFG many years ago with my brother (well, he did all the real work, I just helped him with suggestions on what to do next, I have the uncanny ability to come up with the silly solution that DOES work).  I don't think I ever beat it through.  That's why I have the VGA that my friend got so I can beat it myself (if I ever get around to playing it, or my new one!
