Koko's an indoor cat...but he'll do his best to find a way outside

Nowadays, our indoor cat is outdoor more than the outdoor cat, because the outdoor cat has to be indoor before it gets dark, (because he's still on a loose 'leash' and otherwise I can't see the leesh and not find the kitty-cat) and the indoor cat can easily find her own way home. You see, the indoor cat and the outdoor cat don't really get along too well.

I smell some individual definition discrepancies here.

I would define an indoor cat as a cat who is always (or at least mostly) kept indoors, and an outdoor cat as a cat who is allowed outside on a regular basis.

Rainy's an indoor cat... I had a bad experience with losing a cat I let roam outside to a car... plus Springfield definitely isn't the sort of place I'd let a cat roam about regardless. Rainy too tries to sneak out whenever possible, however. Fortunately our apartment opens out into a stairwell, instead of directly outside.

out of my 3, i would class 2 as outdoor (the males) and the female an indoor...she cant really move coz she is fat, but surprisingly when she wnats to she can jump really high and kind of canters when she runs...its quite odd!

We had a cat once that LOVED to go in the sauna as we were heating it up. She would lie on the top shelf, completely oblivious to her surroundings, spread-eagled, and soak in the heat. And then when we poured the first ladle of water she'd rush out. I don't know if it's because she got wet or because of the sizzling noise, or what.... kinda funny to have a sauna cat though. I loved that cat!

YEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I understood Keemeh when she said crisps and I didn't even have to think about it!  She meant chips (in America...not chips in the UK).
But nope, my cats have perfectly normal taste buds.

We have on outdoor cat and an indoor cat.  The indoor cat used to try to go out all the time, but the last time...well, we were chasing a bat out of our house (long story) and we didn't notice him get out.  So, at 1 in the morning, we hear a cat fight, and lo!  It's him.  He's now missing a small chunk of fur, and hasn't tried to get outside since.

Koko has normal tastes...mainly b/c we don't feed him anything strange...could be dangerous for the cat.

Rainy's pretty normal... he likes stuff you'd expect a cat to like: cheese, meat, apparently rats (ew), that sort of thing. He tends to puke up anything that's not dry cat food, though, so we try not to let him steal anything.

Rainy's a long, lean cat, with just a little bit of a belly.

My mom's cat, Snowy, on the other hand, does like eating strange stuff. I've seen her steal and eat potato chips, carrots, lettuce, and cookie crumbs, among other things.

Snowy's a chubby cat. My mom really shouldn't feed her so often, but, oh well.

its mainly jake that eats the weird stuff, he just sits there and looks at u *FEED ME* so u break a bit of whatever your eating and if he likes them smell then he eats it. i dont think he would eat it if it was gonna be bad for him! he has never puked it up![/glow]

Surely cats will know if something's bad for them before they eat it.  But we don't take risks with Koko...we just feed him meat and stuff...but mainly his cat food.  And guess what!  We've put him on a diet because he's gotten SO fat...he gets fed twice a day and maybe a handful each time.  And I think he's GAINED weight since then!!
