I actually see it pink too, not magenta or red, that shows that some of the ones around here need to calibrate their monitors or get a new one... or get new eyes too whynot?! :P

Depends on the browser. Some text browsers do accept rudimentary color formatting, I think.

My monitor isn't whacked, it's just that everyone else is color blind ::)
