Well, therein lies another problem, perhaps. I think women may have difficulty taking a man who doesn't act his age seriously, no matter how old or young he may be in comparison to they.

What age should I act as? My biological, my psychological or the one it says on my ID-card?

Seeing as how he got pretty cheesed off, I obviously have at least a few negative qualities.

And do those negative qualities earn you a place in the KQ Asylum?

Well what do you know? There was a reason for Rob to be a patient(not anymore).

I would like to take exception to Jeysie's rule that guys should act their age!
Old people should not act "like" old people.  Then they'd be boring.  17 year old should not act "like" 17 year olds--then all they care about (quite literally) is sex.
Because acting "like" an age is based off of stereotypes of that age.

I just meant that people shouldn't act immature for their age... at least not on a regular basis. If a 30-year-old claims to naturally act younger than he is, then he's acting immature to some degree.

It's not a turn-off to act more mature than one's age is, but why squander the chance to be innocently childish while you can?

And acting mature doesn't mean being boring or not having fun. You can be mature and goofy/silly at the same time... the difference between that and being immaturely goofy/silly is the amount of conscious intent and awareness behind it. (i.e. the mature person is being goofy/silly on purpose because it's an appropriate time to have fun.)
