As is the case with most memories, events that influenced your perception/emotion the most are best remembered. Your case was such an exceptional event, it will remain 'locked' in my memory for a long time.

actually thinking that you are sane isn't an indication for anything. sane ppl think they are sane (and they should be) and most insane ppl are thinking they are sane...

so if you think you are sane it doesn't mean you are sane or insane yet
