The BEST: My parents...they took me out tonight.  We went to Olive Garden...they bought me a few books a Books-A-Million...and then we went for that milk shake I've been craving the majority of the day.  Still depressed, but at least I wasn't home alone for the evening.

More GOOD: got a call about 2 hours ago...it was the guy I was supposed to have gone out with tonight.  He apologized...and we ended up talking for 1 1/2 hours.  We're going to try to go out again over Thanksgiving break...I'm not going to try to get my hopes up too much, but we'll see...

Ummmm....he lives eight hours from me...his dad was having some back trouble...part of the interstate that he would've taken is shut down from all the rains from Ivan...and his car practically exploded and now he has to have his engine replaced....are those enough reasons?? :P
