Up until now it's only ever fixed things that were actually problems.

*sigh* looks like the file's gone for good. I'll have to download again.

Wondering if you recommend that I just uninstall Episodes 1 & 2 and download the full build? My patch has been installing for an hour and a half now, and I'm anxious to play Episode 3.

Make sure you turn Norton off before the download finishes or it will likely do it again.

Yup, just did that. Took me a while to work out how though, they don't want to make it obvious do they!
At least it's downloading at about twice the speed this time.

Okay, thanks Cez. I think I'll do that as soon as it's up. FiOS will take a lot less time to download the file than the patch was taking to install.

Venus, you may have gotten a bad file. We just discovered it. Was it staying hung in the installation or in the validation?
