I thought ep1 was too short and didn't really have any puzzles, but I am waiting to play ep2 before making my mind up on the game. The plot is ok so far, but I think the game needs to be more challenging. That's pretty much what most people said about ep1. Unfortunately, I still can't play ep2 because it's still not available for download on direct2drive. I've put in a support ticket at this point.. don't really get it as episode1 was on d2d before any of the other places.

To be fair I don't find most of the Telltale games to be that challenging...

As for length of puzzles, it has same amount and type as Wallace and Gromit, and Bone for their episodes. Mostly conversation type puzzles, a spattering of item based puzzles, a couple of distraction/find a clue based puzzles, and a couple of arcade puzzles.

Take the car chase scene, that's pretty much ripped straight form Wallace and Gromit and the giant queen bee chase.

I honestly don't remember Sam and Max Episode 1 being all that long either.

Seriously Telltale games doesn't change much from its formula ever... I never expected that they would.
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

Still not up on d2d. This is very frustrating. I'm not going to buy from them again. Wish I'd gotten it on steam or from telltale directly. At least TSL ep3 is only an hour and a half from being available, I'll be playing that instead of ep2.

According to a new article from Joystiq, The Walking Dead and Fables are among the five properties to be announced at a press event TONIGHT! I'm pretty excited honestly.

My sister is absolutely in love with The Walking Dead. Then again, she's also part of a zombie radio series or something. She has this thing for Zombies. I'm more of an aliens dude. Still, I'm looking forward to what TellTale announces. I'm watching joystiq like a hawk and nothing's new there. And yes, I do spend most of my time reading articles on that site. I have it open in another tab all the time. I swear by Joystiq. Joystiq's word is LAW!

Yes hello, drunkenmonkey, and welcome to the thread.

Yea, it finally went up on d2d right around 6pm, same time as TSL ep3. Figures. I hope they're better with the timing for ep3. Anyway, downloaded it, played it, there were more puzzles than ep1, but they were still pretty easy. The plot is interesting, at least.

Telltale site appears to be down again, server itself is unreachable for me.
