QuoteDid you know that rearranging the letters of "George Bush"  gives "He bugs Gore", "Madonna Louise Ciccone" gives "Occasional nude income" and "William Shakespeare", "I am a weakish speller"??!

Now you can find what lurks within the letters of YOUR name, and that of your boss, employer or anything else you want!

Interestingly, Usama bin Laden (a variant spelling of Osama) gives you "Damnable in USA". That's downright creepy! :-X

Osama bin Laden gives a more humorous anagram: "Damn alien S.O.B." lol

Now You, Too, Can Be a Comedian

The Pez MP3 Project

My reaction to these two items can be summed up as follows:

"Hahahahaha!! That's a pretty funny satire! It's very... ...wait, you mean you're *serious* about that?! ... ...you have to be ****ing me."

For those of you who know what to do with a Unix shell:

The New Adventure Shell

Now you too can turn your computer into your very own text adventure game.

For the programmers:

The Shakespeare Programming Language

Because you just know you've always wanted to be able to set variables by typing "Thou art as disgusting as the quotient between Romeo and twice the difference between a mistletoe and an oozing infected blister!"

And now something slightly more serious:

Julian Beever's pavement drawings

His portraits are beautiful, but what really boggles the mind are the trompe l'oeil drawings. Wicked!

look over the whole website and you can find stuff such as the legality of the situation and such.

As concerns this SaveToby site, I for one find it morally reprehensible. Yes, legally there is nothing improper about it, nor do I think there really should be (I'm not one of those "there should be a law" types). However, despite what the webmaster says, it is extortion. Maybe not by its legal definition, but he still is compelling people to give him money by means of a threat. The really sad thing is that he probably will get thousands of dollars out of it, though his expectation of $50,000 is ridiculous. Even if he only makes 50 bucks, that'll still be 50 bucks too many. This just might be the epitome of dishonest gain. And no, my gripe with this person's methods has nothing to do with "animal rights" or any other such idiotically idealistic philosophy. In fact, my beliefs couldn't be farther on the political spectrum from those annoying PETA activists and their ilk.

Whether the bunny lives or dies is not the crux of the matter. It is this man’s manipulation of others’ beliefs and sensibilities for personal gain that is truly abhorrent. Some might see it as a clever or even business-savvy ploy. So what if it is? That doesn't make it right. And I don't buy the argument that those foolish enough to actually give money to this creep deserve their loss. Yes they are foolish, I grant that, but so are the millions of people who fall for 401 scams over the Internet every year. Naïveté is not tantamount to deserving of financial loss. The bottom line is, this guy is a manipulative jerk who doesn't deserve a cent from anyone. I can’t understand those who find entertainment in this sort of thing; what humor is there in crowing over other people’s distress, however misplaced it may be?

That's just sick! He says he doesn't want to eat Toby, but he will if he doesn't receive $50,000! I'd say it's extortion...
