Ok everyone i just found out on spacequest.net that there is someone that is remaking Space Quest 3?

Here is the link http://forum.spacequest.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1833

The screenshots look great.

The screenshots do look good, though it's also noteworthy that they're all from the same initial location in the game.  I wonder how long he's been working on just that area and what the timeframe is like for completing the game itself.

There has been at least two other attempts I think, and they  never got anywhere :p....
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

What was the plan for your KQ8? With what engine were you planning on making it?

AGS.   It didn't get far at all.  I announced it WAY too early, like pretty much right after I had the idea and tried writing/thinking up some basic plot things and such.  and I mean I was working on it for like 2 days and then announced it.  I didn't realize how crazily hard it is to make a game.  plus I was like 12.

Were you planning on making it a VGA point/click game like KQV-VI?

yeah. I don't know much else about how I originally had it planned.  what ended up happening is DMD gave me a bunch of ideas for what to do so I attempted to rewrite/write everything.  I programmed a  little bit of the game, but it wasn't very good or focused at all.  it wasn't playable at all either.  serious lack of planning.
